Beautiful area is not a closed park is cross by the highway between Chile and Bolivia a lots of small animals. Chungara lake and a lot of Andes Mountains sightseeing.

What an amazing set of national parks. A must see for anyone who has time to visit. Its cold and dusty but the views are incredible and ever changing. We took the chance to drive ourselves and it was so worth the extra effort.

Such a beautiful place. In Lauca National Park people can find rich flora and fauna as well as outstanding landscapes. You can get there by car or all-day tours

Amazing volcanic scenery, very few tourists, but cute wildlife. It is very high altitude, but Putre makes a good base to explore from and is a bit lower so a good place to acclimatise.

What an amazing place. It's like nowhere else! The high altitude lake and bird life are very special. Views of snow topped volcanoes, caves to climb up to, the boardwalk across the wetlands, llamas, alpacas and vicuñas, craggy mountains and thermal springs to soak in, all make this a unique part of the world. And a visit to the tiny Andean village of Parinacota is an absolute must with its adobe church from the 17th century and the tiny school with about 4 students.

Not to be missed! A beautiful park with many animals. Cotacotani and Chungara are of course the landmarks but the rest is beautiful as well!

Es precioso, fuimos en febrero con mi familia, como las 3 de la tarde llovió, luego granizo y vino la nieve, fue una experiencia soñada, lo volvería a hacer!
Ojo, cuidado con la puna!
Hidratarse bien, el día anterior al viaje coma liviano, duerma bien, prepare su viaje, lleve unos sándwich y mucho líquido.
