ATARISI LODGE

A beautiful cabin in the middle of the jungle, all the confort of warm running water and electricity. Ideal to get away from the modern world. No wifi, but you can get signal for any emergency, in any case you won't miss it with this view by day and the stars by night. If you hire the food service, they prepare your meals just for you from the scratch in the cabin, and clean up for you, and is definitely something so delicious you can't imagine you're in the middle of nowhere, but the traditional seasoning and ingredients remainds you how far you have been. Tricky to get there, but they pick you up from Rurrenabaque Airport in 4x4.

I highly recommend Atarisi lodge. I've travelled all over the world, and this has been one of the most beautiful and enjoyable vacations I've had (also the most affordable!). My partner and I were running very late and did not arrive until 4am. The staff stayed up, made sure we arrived safe and had a hot meal ready for us! They were very gracious and accommodating. The food, friendliness of the staff, and beauty of the Amazon made it a truly enjoyable and memorable experience. Bolivia is truly the hidden treasure of South America, and the Bolivian Amazon is it's most precious gem.

Nous avons passé 4 jours à Atarisi Lodges et c’était tout simplement parfait. La chambre est spacieuse avec une vue incroyable sur la jungle. La nourriture est excellente et très saine. Auri, la dame qui gère l’hôtel, est tout simplement un amour. Elle s’est occupée de nous parfaitement. Nous avons passé des heures à discuter ensemble. C’était comme une mamie pour nous.
Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce logement au cœur de la nature ! 💚

Espectacular! Si lo que quieres es olvidarte de la rutina... no hay buena señal de Internet, no hay tv así que lo mejor es conectarse con la naturaleza y hacer paseos (senderismo),

Es un lugar realmente hermoso, se encuentra emplazado en medio de la naturaleza y tiene todas las comodidades necesarias, su ubicación hace por lejos que sea el mejor lugar para visitar, en mi opinión le asigno máxima puntuación y por mi experiencia ya me encuentro planificando una próxima visita.

This is an interesting place. The main room is huge with a double bed, spacious bathroom and dining room table downstairs and three beds upstairs. One double and two twin. The only other two rooms are on either side and have a double bed with bath and private balcony with rail. Main room has no railing and unlike the smaller rooms, as of this writing, the main room is not sealed from the elements. It it's hot, you're hot. If its buggy, they provide netting on the beds. We were a party of 7 and the only people in the lodge. Service was perfection and frankly, made me feel spoiled. The lunches were fantastic! The chef, while not formally trained, did go to a training session with a real chef and it shows. Dinner was a lighter affair and breakfast too was huge. In fact, the food sort of blew my mind. The walk down to the river and the three shallow "pools" is straight down and back but can be done in flip flops if you take it very slowly. Other than relaxing, there's nothing to do here other than the walk to the river unless you arrange a private guide or walk to the National Park which is about a 20 min uphill walk on a lightly-traveled road.

El entorno natural es precioso, una vista excepcional, lamentablemente por el precio que se paga, la comida no estuvo a la altura (a excepción de la cena que fue una pasta casera), la cabaña principal requiere un mantenimiento urgente en puertas, ventanas, gradas y fachada, la madera está muy hinchada.
A su vez se debería mejorar y terminar el acceso de gradas que conecta con el río y así tener un proyecto integral.

Positivo: La habitación es tal y como se ve en las fotos, el relax de dormir en medio del bosque. Las chicas de la cocina muy simpáticas y cocinan muy bien.

Negativo: El personal nos vino a buscar a Tumupasa cuando le dijimos que no viniera, que ya iríamos nosotras, obligandonos así a coger mototaxi cuando queríamos ir andando (es menos de 1h caminando). El chico muy insistente en que comieramos allí, en hacer ruta con su guia, etc. Al final cominos 1 día al hostal por 30$ por persona, comida rica pero nos quedamos con mucha hambre. La habitación estaba llena de animales, ratones, arañas, etc. Esta muy mal comunicado, el camino para aceder en moto es peligroso. Se tiene que pagar todo en dolares y en efectivo. No hay aire acondicionado, aunque en la descripción del sitio lo ponga. La mesa con sillas en la terraza de la habitación no existen, estan en el restaurante.

LA VERDAD MUY DESEPCIONADO POR EL TRATO HORRIBLE DE PARTE DE LA SEÑORA, LA SUPUESTA DUEÑA DEL EMPRENDIMIENTO.
FUIMOS UN GRUPO DE PROFECIONALES EN TURISMO, PARA VER CON QUE POTENCIAL TURISTICO CONTAVA LA POBLACION DE TUMUPASA Y RECIBIMOS UN TRATO DE LO PEOR.
