Although I used to BC archaeological sites in other parts of the world, this rather "modern" site is quite amazing and highly recommend visiting it.

This place is underrated because the original building is all in ruins. I had a great time though just seeing all the exquisitely cut blocks of the ancient building tossed around at random. I hope a reconstruction can somefau put at least some of it back together.

Puma Punku is such an interesting and mysterious place. The ruins of an old civilisation can be found here. What makes these ruins so interesting is their geometric shapes and how precise is the stonework. There are stones with incredibly precise cuts, something almost impossible to today, only with modern technology. A must see for all history and archeology fans!

Great archaeological site, that leave you with more questions than answers. It should be ideally visited with a guide.

Amazing spot, to be visited with a guide, otherwise everything looks like a place in ruin. There is so much to know about this area and the theories and legends about these civilizations. Highly recommended

Incredible!
Ok, nothing to see if you are waiting for a real temple, up on his feet... But look at the pictures and just ask yourself how they have been able to cut and tail these stones....

Take a look at the H blocks, the huge portals laying on the ground, the entrance to the unearthed pyramid and chakana crosses perfectly carved in stone.

Even at a 10% of explored area, this site reveals the greatness of the tiahuanacotas architecture. Impressive stone structures, incredible craftsman from ancient times.

I believe that Puma-Punku was developed by the Anunnaki with super advanced technology.
What we see in Statuary in Puma-Punku, Easter Island, under the Mediterranean, and in the far south of Mesopotamia. The Atlanteans were the Pyramid builders, now known as Egyptians.
Most locations have suffered destruction from Cataclysms every four to five thousand years.

It's so amazing how old this architecture is, yet the stonework was near perfection. Not only that, but I read they found some niobium alloys here. How could ancient man work with niobium? It has one of the highest melting points of all metals! OwO

Definitely a must see even if not much work has been done on the ruins.
The remains you can see are really something and the view of the surrounding area really spectacular.

This area of ruins still holds a few mysteries. Namely "How did they get these giant piece of rock here?" and "How did they make such precision cuts and highly polish the stones?"

No doubt you'll be combing your visit to Puma Punku with a visit to Tiwanaku, and I'd say it's worth the time and money to visit these 2 archaeological sites and the 2 museums.

This is the 03 step pyramid near to major Tiwanaku ruins complex and only few people visiting the place. Much of the site haven't been excavated yet. They said lake Titikaka's shore is next to the temple at ancient time. Still there is know proper idea what is the exact reason to destroy this temple and according to some people it might be a tsunami to destroy it. Nice place to admire the ancient stone carving technology as these people later influence Incas to build famous ruins.
