Mir Castle in Grodno region is one of the most important tourist attractions in Belarus, an outstanding 16th-century fortification and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

This is a really interesting castle for anyone! I am really happy I decided to go to the castle and learn more about the history of the region. It was well worth getting the audio guide! Their is too much stuff to simply read and get through.

The curators did an amazing job allowing people to go through the different towers of the castle and having people explore the castle. It was really fun to climb through the different stairs and levels.

Beware for the tall people the stairs were made for smaller men!

If you wish to see a castle like in fairytales, you definitely should visit Mir Castle. It was recently renovated and looks amazing. There are a museum, a restaurant and a hotel inside. So one can get the whole experience 🤩
I visited the museum. Recommend to go there as well

A wonderful thing about Belarus management of such landmarks, is that they turn whole area into an open museum, with all its lakes, fields, trees and animals.
The place is full of history, arts and beauty of both architecture and nature.

Nice-looking, moderately renovated castle. There is a hotel inside, so you can spend a night as well. The castle is not so big and there is not a lot of interesting things around it, bug the view is great

This castle complex was by far my favorite tourist attraction in Belarus. It has been meticulously restored and the ticket covers entry to all aspects of the complex including the museum and cathedral. The signage was good and the personnel were friendly. The nearby Radziwill castle could learn about customer service from this castle. You could spend as much time as you like here and enjoy the beautiful parks surrounding the complex. I recommend at least one night in Mir to see the castle illuminated at night, at sunrise and at sunset. If I had known you can book a room in the castle I would have done that!

I don’t usually enjoy castles but this place was quite impressive and worth the ride from Minsk. Best way to reach is to rent a car for a day. Entrance to the courtyard and surrounding park is free.

Nice place for a promenade with a beautiful sight of a castle and a watermark nearby. If you aren't a fan of Belarus history then it's not worth going inside, though, better have more time outside and around the castle

Great place to see a piece of history, how it could look centuries ago. Highly recommended for visitors to stay at the hotel in the castle for at least one night - an unforgettable experience. The museum is also not bad, just take a guided tour, it's cheap but really worth it.

It's been my first time after renovation. Good museum exhibition. Didn't have enough time to see everything properly though.

It was a pleasure to have a walk around the castle. We were there in autumn when yellow and red colored trees beautifully highlight the castle.

It was an absolutely fabulous experience. My 9-year-old daughter enjoyed it the most. An absolute must when you are in Belarus. The town close by also has historical significant sights and is worth a visit. Some touristy stalls outside the grounds sell souvenirs. Town shops give good service with a market on weekends. The pharmacist went out of her way to help me and speak english.

Nice and comfy place to get acquainted with Belarusian history. This castle is one of a plenty reconstructed and well saved ones in Belarus. The service is hospitable and responsive. It may take you up to 3-5 hours to discover this place. So it's definitely a must visit! Discover also Nesvizh castle that is not far away from that one.
Do not forget to take a walkie outside the castle. Nature and the lake around that place are magnificent.

Must visit! History from 16th to 20th century. A really atmospheric place. The town nearby also has something to show. #LetsGuide

Located near Minsk - an hour away. Very beautiful outside - well maintained, clean. An interesting exposition. Part of the chambers is destroyed, and this exposes the scope of the structure. Two towers with stunningly narrow and steep stairs - if there are a lot of visitors, it will not be easy to disperse. But you can feel like a medieval defender of the castle :) There is a restaurant and hotel on the territory - if you really like it, you can delve into the history of Mir Castle and eat well.
