Great place to let the boy run around.
Looks like it's been nicely kept over the years

Honestly probably the best campsite I’ve been too. Lots of spots to pick from and some very private ones. Although an update on the place you need to book your spots ONLINE now. It’s not self booking; no more cash box.

I grew up down the road from here. This campground is great. Lots of trees. A boat launch. A small beach area for swimming. Each site has a fire pit with rack to cook on. $15 a night. No electricity. Bring camper or tent. Its a small campground and very quaint. Not a good place for fishing these days. You will see farms along the way.

Quiet and absolutely beautiful.. a little off the path but well worth the trek. Large trailers are a little tough to get turned around.

Had a great time there. Lots of trees. Great place for tents and small trailers. Camping old school.

Located close to town/amenities (Athabasca).
We've rented this site for birthday parties, twice in the past 5 years. It's always nice and quiet, clean, and never overpacked.

The individual sites are nice. Some provide more privacy and some are more open.
The only downside is that a few of the restrooms were shut down.

Overall, we would definitely recommend it for a weekend getaway.

Well treed campsites, a bit on the small side, basic outhouses. Water is only close to a few sites, and it is discoloured. Some leeches in the lake, mostly because there are no fish due to winter kill. We encountered tonnes of horse flies, and some mosquitoes. Not very busy... Hardly a neighbor in sight!

No services but nice treed camping spots. Fish winter killed. Small beach. Quiet.

The county could put some money into a few upgrades. Very basic.
