My husband and I drove from North Bay to Amos Quebec. We were happy the man who greeted us spoke English and he was helpful.

One of my favourite place in the whole world!
The mission of the refuge is so great, what they do everyday to take care of these animals is amazing! I’m so proud to be from Amos, and to be able to talk about the Refuge to people around me! Every visit is different, and we can lean so much about wildlife thanks to the amazing staff!

I grew up going there often, and now every time I go back to Amos to see my family and friends, I make sure to stop there for a visit!

I sometimes wish Japan was closer so I could visit the Refuge more often ❤

Very nice experience went with kids, they loved it. The employee are very close with the animals, you can see the love. They shared many stories about the animals and why they are there. Nice walk.

Lots of fun with the kids. They're saving animals and then try to release then back to their natural habitat.
Love the new small lights room at the end.

Positively amazing experience! Our guide Emile, was very well versed in the history of the Refuge and its inhabitants. The facility is well run and the birds and animals well cared for. We would highly recommend bilingual signage and literature on the animal enclosures. The video and audio presentations should also be bilingual. More merchandise could have been available in the gift shop. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Refuge Pageau and will encourage our friends to visit the centre. 😁💝

Beautiful place to explore with family. My kids love going every time. There are many spots to stop and eat as well and you don't have to buy food on site. That's a big plus for me. We always pack a cooler and have a picnic at one of the many tables on the trail.

Wonderful! One of the highlights of our trip- well worth a detour even if you aren’t already in Amos. We were floored by the number and variety of animals, and surprised that we got to see most of them, even on a cold and rainy day. Would come back anytime!

Wild animals cured and sent back in the wild. Animals that can't survive in the wild have access to the public. Only chance to see some of these beautiful creatures close up. Great guides and even maple toffee on snow. Family friendly. Farm and historic home on site.
