Great find. Very good beers and the food was restaurant quality all the way. Our server Julia was awesome !

Cold beer and great eats. Nice little covered walkway across a quaint river in behind as well !

Choices of 7 crafted beer when we went there. All tasted pretty good. The service is a bit slow but understandable considering how crowded is the place usually. The food is pretty great. I would recommend the Nagano Burger which is porc, caramelised onions and Brie cheese. Will definitely go again if I come back to the are!

All beers on the menu were mind blowing!
Staff was all incredibly friendly, welcoming and knew thier products very well! I was stuck in town due to a truck breaking down during a trip to Gaspesie , La Captive made the time here so much better! All food was great as well!

Relaxed vibe, seasonal, locally crafted beer and a cool playlist, this place has what you need to quench your hunger and hang around for a while.

We stopped there completely randomly on our way between Carleton and Rimouski, what a nice surprise. Tried their blond (lager?) which was very good, so were the burgers and the staff!

Excellent pub atmosphere. Original menu with published GF choices. It was great. I wish I could stay for one of many shows the offer.

Awesome place full of history. It was too bad their compressor was broken and only could serve one of the their beers. But what I taste was excellent.

Try two of the Traitre high-test dark beers along with the Cator appetizer! Great service in a fantastic local brewery.

We had excellent service and food here. Definitely try La Queue du Castor as an appetizer.
