I have many canoes, and I have to say I love my Souris River Quetico 17. We have taken this all over NWO. With our family of two Huskies wife, kid and me. It's a great boat, very stable, easily stand up in. Tracks great, and fast to paddle. I've even soloed it a few times.

I've heard such great things about this canoe company so when it was time to order a canoe they were high on the list. Coupled with the fact their boats are well made, super light, and not nearly as high priced as the local competitors like Swift or Novacraft, it was an easy choice in the end. The whole purchasing experience was fantastic and they were happy to answer any questions I had and were quick to give non judgmental advice. At the hand off they helped get the canoe on and strapped, and even had foam blocks and cam straps at the ready in case we needed them (we brought our own straps but they had Souris River branded ones which was nice!) All in all a great experience and I am excited to get our new Quetico out on the water.

Favourite canoes in our fleet! Only downside is the epoxy exterior does not handle sun or repainting as well as a gelcoat canoe. As this is standard with all epoxy boats, I could not take off any stars

Souris River canoes are the best! I have a Quetico 16 and I love it! I have spent 6 years working at canoe outfitters in Ely Minnesota and have seen canoes get beat up pretty good. The Souris Canoes seem to outlast all the other brands we have. They paddle great and can handle the rough wilderness of the BWCA and Quetico. They definitely can handle being used over and over again by outfitting customers and will last a lifetime! If you're looking for a new canoe for your own personal use, I highly recommend Souris River Canoes. Great product that comes from great people! Thank you Souris for getting me out into the wilderness. Many memories have been and will be made in that beautiful canoe!

We called to get advice about repainting a used Souris River kevlar canoe and the man that answered our call (wish we got his name!) was extremely helpful and knowledgable. Walked us through every step and gave us some helpful tips. Thank you so much!

Remarkable craftsmanship with these canoes. Switched from aluminum, I can't be happier. Souris River staff are kind and welcoming.

Simply Google what they've done during the global pandemic while decent people were making their very best to keep the health system from drowning and the weakest of us from dying.
