Montreal Jazz Festival is always awesome. Location is great. Well organized. Bathrooms get crowded so plan accordingly. Gentle, easy going crowd. Nice way to spend a summer evening. Buy your tickets directly at Place des Arts. Resellers can disappoint you at the last minute. Double check your ticket if you purchase from a reseller and make sure it has your name on it. Stubhub pulled me a fast one by reselling me a ticket that did not have my name on it. Staff was courteous and sorted it out. I would have never had another chance to see Buddy Holly perform today. George Benson day before was awesome yesterday.

Surprisingly large venue, with very good acoustics, and comfortable seats. All seated admission no GA, which can be nice depending on the show. Conveniently very close to the Place-des-Arts metro, and easy to find. Top two levels of balcony seating do not have elevator access, only stair access. Cool architecture too.

Saw the wonderful Ali Wong here. I'm tall and the seats were more than comfortable. Was a beautiful spot. Will definitely go back for a show in the future.

Great place to visit. Quite pretty. We came to see Notre Dame de Paris . Awesome show.

Very nice theater hall, has two main levels and multiple private balconies. In my opinion you see better off the balconies as there is a better incline of seats

The hall is very impressive, the seats are comfortable, and the stage is clearly visible from any seat. The musical Notre Dame de Paris was beyond praise. Great music, excellent voices, amazing dance group.

First time going to watch a concert there and it was surprisingly awesome inside. I was in a wheelchair and was treated like an important person, by them paving the way to go to the private elevator. As we got out of the elevator they helped us get to our seats. The show was amazing. Blue Rodeo.

Great spot to go and see live performances. Have been here a few times to see different shows.
My favourites have been 'Titanic' in concert and 'Home a Lone' in concert.
The staff are always friendly and very helpful. Great spot 🙂

Watched Aladdin here. It’s located at the place des arts and you can park nearby, about a block away. There are many theatres in the place des artes and the salle Wilfrid Pelletier is a pretty big one with upper balcony seats , lower levels etc. The show was awesome and we enjoyed the experience!

I have been at this place many times. I do have to say it is a gorgeous place. The hall is beautiful. This year I was seated at the balcony and I LOVED the view.

I enjoyed being able to see the orchestra and the scene very clearly. The music was very clear also overall for me perfection.

It's quite a climb but it was worth it to me in the end.

Love coming here for events.

Had an amazing night listening to my favorite pianist during la Fête de la musique de Montréal! Beautiful space & stunning performance!

It was an impressive, magical, masterful Bob Dylan concert, whose vibrations and emotions cannot be expressed in words! It was magnificent! The hall was elegant, and the staff very kind. Thank you for this unique experience!

Saw Kraftwerk 3D and it was a blast. The venue held up well to the 3D performance, the robots, the very dynamic sound and effects. I was worried it might get too loud or screechy, but the soundboard kept things very tolerable, and well cared for so no one really felt uncomfortable. Still, the sound traveled well throughout the venue.

Update - so, after a few more visits to this place and different presentations, I have to say, the seats and the seating views are also considerably better than other venues. Smaller presentations are tougher to really enjoy from the higher spots - but, the lower spots could be a bit harsh depending on the group performing. Overall, still a pleasant experience!

Nice place. Been here before for a deep purple show. This time my son's grad. Acoustics are amazing.

Incredible theatre. Incredible experience. Incredible talent! I came to watch an orchestra play a movie and it was absolutely fantastic! The seats aren't super comfortable but it's a very minor inconvenience. I highly recommend you come see your favourite music played live by an orchestra!

Very good place, the sound is good, the organization is ok, parking is just a few steps 🚶‍♀subway too, you can enjoy your show, take a drink, go to eat with yours friends all this whitout going outside, very convenient in winter 😀

Beautiful place, not sure why the seats are separated by pair and impair seats.
