Find all your building supplies with friendly customers service.

No staff to help me load but at least whoever orders the building supplies stocked up on things folks need before summer so customer can come in and get what they need. Wish the oshawa store was as efficient!

I happen to go into the Whitby location to do a return and met the manager. I apologize for not catching her name but she was exceptionally helpful and personalable. As I was walking the store to find a garbage can that I needed I noticed ALL of the staff were smiling and a few stopped me to ask if I needed any help, a cart and even told me to have a blessed day!!!!!! What?! To top if off the cashier was extremely nice. I felt like I was dreaming because this is not what I experienced at my Home Depo near where I live. Thanks guys for making my day and making me smile. Great job to the supervisors, the store is clean and your staff are great 👍

They have all my home renovation needs covered.

However, I hate ordering from Home Depot Online: it takes forever for me to get my items.

Sabrina from the Oshawa Home Depot who was helping out at Whitby was simply a God sent. Not only is she knowledgeable but extremely polite and helpful. She saved us a solid$ 400 bucks. Christmas has come early for us.

The customer service at this store is outstanding! I had some issues with a cupboard that was delivered damaged and Leslie, Sharon and Ifran were happy to spend time helping me. Other times when I’ve been in the store, within minutes someone asks if I need anything and I never have to go searching for someone. We still have some home improvements to do and will definitely be going back. With such great customer service why would I go anywhere else? Much appreciated and thanks for caring!

James was such a help. I had multiple questions and he was able to answer every single one. Gave me lots of helpful info and definitely went above and beyond. So friendly, we got chatting and I feel like I've known him for years.

I had asked for the mgr ( Jessica ? ). I was told she’s a “ GET THINGS DONE “ kinda manager. I wouldn’t know, she either couldn’t be found or wouldn’t come to desk after being paged, so I don’t know if she’s a get things done mgr or not?

However back to the hero’s of the day. Your two employees more than made up for the snubbing. I’ve got more rooms to paint, and gardens to fill so I’ll be back to your store and I WILL ASK THEM IF THEY WERE GIVEN A PAT ON THE BACK, maybe even from Jessica - THEY DESERVE IT❗

Everything you need to retrofit your home. Summer they have a good collection of plants and veggies. They have a lumber section and will cut it for you as per the requirements. Delivery is available along with tool rentals . Friendly and informative staff.

I am a frequent visitor here for all hardware needs for my home. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They take the time to explain even the silliest of queries. For appliances they do price matching with other stores which is good, some of the staff help with the price match otherwise you need to do it and show them at the time of billing.

They do have promotions like no interest payments in 12 or 18 months if you have the Home Depot credit card.

On May 11, I started on adventure.

I wanted to update all sixteen of the electrical switches in our townhouse with new more modern ones. So, I went to The Home Depot -- my "go to" store for home improvement shopping.

I changed switches before, but I wouldn't call myself an expert. So, I walked through the Electrical aisle and started to look. The number of choices had me confused pretty quickly.

Then I met Scott. Scott's a great guy and an employee in the Electrical Department.

He asked a few questions about what I wanted -- and within a minute he had me stocked up on what I needed -- standard ON/OFF switches, dimmer switches, single, double and triple switch plates. I was out of the store in less than 15 minutes. And by suggesting "contractor packs" -- Scott helped me save a few dollars.

Shout out to Scott! And, to The Home Depot! With great employees like this -- you'll come out a winner.

Today we needed to rent a truck for taking some materials home. The employee named John / Rentals (Whitby - Garden St) gave as a proper attention, cordial and respectful customer services. Congratulations Home Depot for the excellent example of professionalism.

Helpful staff and easy to use website to find items

The Winbag Air Shim is one of my favourite tools! It’s amazingly versatile that is able to lift or align wood or metal components on construction projects or, for just a little routine household maintenance. For example, replacing felt pads on heavy furniture. I give it a solid five star rating.

Awesome customer service. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I have been going to store for a while and have always been impressed with the helpfulness of the staff.

Special shout out for Dana who has helped me couple of times with my issues at the customer service.
