Amazing experience! We had a wonderful full-day tour with Ervin and his horses and dogs, exploring country trails, waterfalls, and little pockets of nature on Ervin's land. He's a wonderful storyteller and highly knowledgeable about the flora and fauna on his land so we got to know our surroundings more. Ervin's also a wonderful cook—we're still craving that delicious chicken pasta he served us for lunch! Overall wonderful hospitality, beautiful experience, and we left with amazing memories (and look forward to returning to taste Ervin's homemade beer/wine!).

This horseback riding experience was magical. It was honestly the best way of experiencing Futaleufú. My partner has little experience riding and I am pretty comfortable on a horse - Ervin exceeded both of our expectations. The whole day ride was an adventure, beautiful, and an experience we’ll always treasure. We rode up mountainsides and through streams and forests to breathtaking views of waterfalls and the valley below. Ervin took many photos so we have a lovely keepsake. We also had a wonderful lunch in his home. Truly unforgettable.

As we planned our trip to Patagonia, we knew that we wanted to go horseback riding somewhere. I am so happy we chose to go with Ervin in Futaleufu! This is not an over-touristed activity, it’s a opportunity to see a whole different way of life, and different side of Patagonia. This is off the beaten path, for sure.

To start our tour, we took a bus to a boat and asked the boat driver to drop us at Ervins house, which he did. Then Ervin fed us home cooked breakfast in his house - which sits in Ervins 300 hectares of mountain forest / lakeside property with no roads or electric poles in site. We then rode through that forest looking at 1000 year old trees and learning about the nature around us and the history of Futaleufu. We went for lunch at his neighbors where all of the incredibly delicious food came from their own farm. And then road some more. My partner and I were the only people on the tour (with the exception of Ervin and a translator). Altogether, it was an amazing day that I would recommend to anyone visiting Futaleufu.

Ervin is an amazing guy, who is passionate about the area, his animals and it's history. He will take you on a wonderful horse ride up and down the mountain and back around the lake, which is indescribably stunning. The place is a bit random to find, but definitely worth it.

Absoluter Höhepunkt meiner Chilereise. Ich habe eine Zweitägige Tour alleine mit Ervin entlang der drei Seen unternommen und bin absolut begeistert. Ervin ist ein angenehmer und professioneller Guide und ich habe mich in jedem Moment sicher mit ihm gefühlt, kann Antuhuya also auch alleinreisenden Frauen ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen. Die Route hat meine Vorstellungen bei weitem übertroffen und war abwechslungsreich, aber auch anspruchsvoll. Ich würde Menschen ohne Reiterfahrung zu den kürzeren Touren raten, bei denen man ebenfalls wunderbare Aussichten auf Seen und Berge genießen kann. Das Essen und die Unterkunft für die Nacht im Valle Espolón waren Top, außerdem kann man Kontakte knüpfen und Ervin kann einem viel über die Geschichte und Bewohner der Gegend erzählen. Die Pferde sind wahre Lebensversicherungen und sind extrem trittsicher und zuverlässig. Die Ausrüstung ist in gutem Zustand und die Sättel erlauben auch mehrere Stunden ohne Schmerzen zu haben. Sollte ich je wieder in Futaleufú vorbeikommen, werde ich auf jeden Fall noch eine Tour mit Ervin und Patagón Unternehmen :)

Hoy Google me recordó que hace tres años vivimos con mi pareja y amigos, la experiencia más recordada del viaje que realizamos a Futaleufú. Una cabalgata por senderos y parajes maravillosos, vista al lago Espolón y la extraordinaria cordialidad de Ervin , guía y dueño de la agencia. La cabalgata tiene como destino su casa a orillas del lago en donde te atiende y te cuenta la historia de la colonización de la zona, además de mostrarte una cascada a pasos de su casa.
Un imperdible para los que visitan Futaleufú.

Una cabalgata perfecta en campo bellísimo, con caballos agradables y bastante fáciles a montar, y con un guía muy amable con mucha conexión con y conocimiento de su tierra.

Lago Espolón, gran lugar para hacer una cabalgata!! Ervin y Jazmín fueron gran anfitriones de este bello paseo. Caballos muy mansos!

Recomendable 100%... Lo mejor de nuestro viaje a Futaleufú... Excelente paseo por la montaña y su cascada ... con vistas hermosas.... El guía un siete y sus caballos muy bien cuidados y mansitos...
