Amazing road trip! We drove more than 4000km in 2 weeks in Patagonia with the car. Even though it was not a 4X4, it did the job.

We only had a little issue with the battery, but Eduardo came to help the same day. He responds quickly and prices are cheaper, if you want to drive on Ruta 7 we recommend booking through Eduardo 🙌

I was very nervous about renting a car in Balmaceda, Patagonia for a race. After reading reviews I decided to rent a car from Eduardo , Patagonia Rent. Honestly it was as simple as renting in Europe, except the communication via WhatsApp is seamless. I needed a large enough car to carry my bike box and also capable and reliable on these beautiful but sometimes challenging roads. The car met all our expectations, did have any issue! Eduardo met us the airport at the agreed time and picked up the car before our departure from the airport., very quick and convenient! I highly recommend to anyone, especially if you come to race at Patagonman! I also recommend to rent a 4 wheel drive car as the roads in some places are not paved, loose surface, gravel.

I rented a motorcycle from Eduardo for a five day tour around Aysén. The bike was in great shape and perfect for the trip. Eduardo was super helpful as I was planning my trip and as someone travelling solo was great to know I had a local contact anytime I needed. Absolutely recommend.

It was super easy and convenient to rent a car from Patagonia Rent, we first saw this website online and decided to contact them from the USA, when we arrived in Balmaceda he brought us the car to the airport. We got a 4x4 for our Carretera trip and we had no issues the car was amazing, totally recommend this car rental. Easy, fast, reliable, and convenient!

Do not rent from anywhere else when in Patagonia besides Patagonia Rent!!! Eduardo is absolutely fantastic and makes the rental process so easy and smooth. We were able to meet him for pickup and drop off at the Balmaceda airport and communication quickly on What's App. The car was in great condition (of course it had some dings on the outside, but that is to be expected when traveling around Patagonia! Mechanically the car was great and the inside was clean.) and had no issues during our trip. His vehicles are newer so they get good gas mileage around the county which is a HUGE win and the backup camera on the car is also very helpful on rural roads and parking when in a village. Highly recommend!

After reading all these positive reviews. I decided to rent 2 and a half weeks with Eduardo's rental, and it was by far the best decision. Like everyone else, the pick up and drop off was smooth, the car was clean and in great conditions, he was responsive and quick at answering messages, and everyone went to plan. I wouldn't go with any other company, plus it is great to support the locals. So 100% recommend. Thank you for your great service, Eduado!

We rented a car for 5 nights, picked it up in Puerto Ibanez, and dropped it at Balmaceda airport ready for our flight.
The car had a few cosmetic issues, courtesy of previous renters "driving too fast on gravel", but was functionality perfect including Android Auto for satnav and music.
The booking process was simple and efficient just using WhatsApp, no payment until Eduardo met us as promised off the ferry. The deposit was refunded to my card immediately at drop off.
Great service for a fair price. Why can't all car hire be this simple!!

Edouardo the owner is the best! He answered us very quickly everytime and he is very kind.
The rental itself was very easy and bonus you can pick up and return the car from the airport. Car was perfect, it was a new one, very comfortable and great for the gravel roads of Road 7.
Price was by far the best of the area.
And on a personal note, Edouardo went beyond himself to help us multiple times when we needed and we can’t thank him enough.
I cannot recommend him enough ! Don’t rent your car anywhere else in Balmaceda, Patagonia Rent is THE BEST !!

Eduardo was really great to deal with. Friendly and relaxed, and certainly helped calm our nerves on what we imagined was a difficult drive. We took the little Kia all the way to Rio Tranquilo without issue! Would recommend for sure.
