El Barista Caffé

Honestly my instant favorite. Literally everything you’d ever want in a bar. Lovely staff, ambience, coffee, food and beers. I could come here to study, eat, and get buzzed all in the same day!!

Open on Christmas day. I appreciate that. Have a large menu, and an even larger drink menu. Have a couple of vegetarian dishes, and the vegburger can be made vegan. Large portions! Only dairy milk for the coffee, but have lactose free milk. Good English on servants, happy and fast service.

On arrival, the restaurant was blaring mexican mariachi songs and other Latin traditional songs. The service was on point and extermely speedy. When food arrived I was astonished by the quantity of food on the platter in front of me. The food was good however I am not sure it was worth its relatively pricey standpoint. Was it worth it? I think so,but even bringing up that question is DEFINITELY a negative. Yet if drinks, liveliness, good location, good artwork, and a charming interior are your thing, then come to El barista.

I've had such a hard time finding good coffee in Chile and this place had the best coffee in Puerto Varas. Really good food too.

Great atmosphere and awesome service & very tasty drinks

Have been going there since 2008...ok, with 14 years break but back then it used to be the only place in Puerto Varas with cafe de grano. Today they offer great food including breakfast, world class coffee and a selection of beers and wines. Staff is friendly and attentive. Recommend!

After minutes and minutes wandering through the city got to this place, and lucky for me was the best choice:) very good sandwiches with fresh vegetables and salmon. Drinks are spectacular (Negroni cocktail tastes ‘’precious”)...the bartender is a pro! Music is chill and nice.

Love this cafe/car! We were here 4 out of 5 days we were in Puerto Varas! One waitress who looked after us is super attentive! Food is amazing and good selections of drinks! Must try!

Definately the best place in town. Good athmosphere and an excellent bar. You will always find a lot of people here, both day and night. Excellent location in the middle of downtown. Well worth a visit. This is a place you can eat and drink, but not dance.

One of the nicest places to have coffee in the city centre of Puerto Varas. They always have a very good day menu for lunch for a very reasonable price. Good attention from the personnel!! Definitely a place to go! Nice terrace in summer also.

After weeks of drinking coffee slightly better than instant, I stumble across this place and am pleasantly suprised that the coffee is on par with Melbourne standards. Highly recommend a visit!
