A beautiful built visitor center with a cafe giving a spectacular view of the valley and the coffee plantation.

The tour by Mario was really good, very informative. We were given the chance to do our own picking and experiencing how much work is involved with just one single cup of coffee.

We did the coffee tour and also came on another day just for a bite to eat and a coffee. We loved the view and the temperature is really nice because it's up in the mountains. It's definitely worth visiting even if you don't do the tour and just visit the cafe.

This place is unique. Fascinating, full of history and just inviting to linger and relax.

Those booking a tour here will get their money's worth for the $ 30: every half hour, a 90-minute journey through the life of a coffee bean starts. Starting from the cultivation to the coffee tasting at the end. Everything close up. Incidentally, Starbucks of course gives some self-promotion regarding Sustainable Management and Ecological Conscience.

The overall concept is right. We take home many positive memories and will never forget our personal VIP guide Meli (Melissa).

Stopped here on the way to Poas volcano. This is a really nice spot to sit down and look over out into the mountains and small water fall. You can also do a tour of the Starbucks coffee. We didn't do that as we wanted to get to the volcano before the viability got bad there. Definitely worth checking this place out. They have a very nice lounge area too.

Amazing location, the first Starbucks coffee plantation. Beautiful space amazing vistas, a coffee tour (a little pricy $28usd per person) the store is super busy but has incredible variety of strange brews. Worth checking out.

Great place to stop for a caffe and relax

Amazing experience to learn about coffee production and drink coffee from freshly roasted beans while gazing at the most amazing view of Costa Rican mountain side.

Coffee is delicious and the pastries and breads are very good. Nice place to drink a cup of coffee and relax.
