NALU bagel & café flamingo

Simply amazing! NALU has the best breakfast in Flamingo, hands down. We ate here multiple times and loved everything we had.

The owner, Arthur, was wonderful. He always had a smile on his face and was a joy to be around.

The food does sometimes take a little bit of time to come out, but it is because he is making everything from scratch. It is well worth the wait!

The best-tasting bagel and waffles i've ever had! Everything tastes so light and airy, it melts in your mouth! What a rare find! The owner is very nice as well. I highly recommend this place to everyone looking for an excellent breakfast or lunch!

Nalu is a MUST visit in Playa Flamingo! My partner and I went for breakfast and had the iced honey lattes, Nalu bagel, chocolate banana bread, and Nalu breakfast. The owner and chef is an artist, everything was beautiful and delicious! The staff is super friendly and personable, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best breakfast meals we’ve ever had. If I could rate it 6 stars out of 5 I would!

Loved this little gem. The owner was so sweet and welcoming and the atmosphere was wonderful. The coffee was so good and the acai bowl!

Delicious food, good variety and options for vegetarian, vegan. Lots of coffee choices, including iced coffee drinks. The salmon bagel and acai bowls were great. They also do to-go and delivery orders.

Nalu was the absolute highlight of our Playa Flamingo dining experience. The Nalu breakfast and parfait was fresh and fabulous, the açaí bowls unrivaled, and the frozen dirty chai and other smoothies and drinks perfect. Not to mention the vegan banana bread which we’ll be pining for after we leave! Incredibly friendly staff and fabulous food. It’s a must visit!

Nalu was our go to spot for breakfast and lunch. Great service and the food was fantastic! Best smoothie bowls I’ve ever had. Meat lovers on a baguette was my husbands favorite!

Absolutely the best!!! Absolutely the best this little gem was right down the hill from our Condo Splendor 360. I honestly cannot emphasize enough how amazing the food is, I had the yogurt and granola yum!! The açai.bowl freshest, just amazing flavors. Also, the cookies are insanely good all of them we tried every cookie they make! My husband did waffles and a sandwich. He said it was the best breakfast sandwich ever!

This little place is a diamond! Food was amazing! Didn't mind waiting since nothing is done fast here....you're on vacation! Love the atmosphere...you're in Costa Rica! The owner is a hard working, friendly man who is always smiling. Went there every morning we could. Please go and say hello. Did not have one thing on the menu we didn't love!

I had a wonderful experience here. I came here everyday (except Tuesday because it was closed). Ardur (hopefully spelled correctly) was so lovely and inviting. The smoothie bowls are great, my in-laws loved the burritos, and my favourite was the Lebanese bowl. Great vegetarian options! I also would recommend a honey latte with coconut milk, it was delicious and I’ll try my best to recreate at home. 10/10 recommend coming here for breakfast, lunch, coffee, or just a cool drink on your way back from the beach!

Our experience at Nalu Bagel was excellent. Management was passionate and friendly, food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. I 100% recommend anyone reading this review to stop by and give them your business. You won’t be disappointed!

Food was amazing! Best acai I have had to date! The Nalu breakfast was off the charts and If all vegan food tasted like the chocolate banana bread, I would be a vegan! Sit back, relax and enjoy!

Met a good friend for breakfast and the food was amazing. Had the vegan bagel and it was very filling and delicious. I was very envious of my friend’s açai bowl because it looked fantastic. Just gives me something to try next time.

This is a great little place. It's in the corner between the real estate and car rental offices.

Great fresh, delicious and healthy food. We ate here several times and enjoyed the outdoor patio and interacting with other patrons and the main guy who is friendly and offers a great menu selection at reasonable prices. Thank you for being near our hotel at Playa Flamingo!

If you are in or around Playa Flamingo, you must try this place. Great smoothies, bowls, sandwiches etc. all is freshly made by a very kind man, who happened to be the owner. You won’t regret it!!

Such a lovely place! We got the sunset smoothie bowl and the Caprese bagel and it was excellent. Definitely visit if you’re in Flamingo!
