This a very cool stop if you are in the area! It takes about an hour or so to see. And only cost $7us per person.
it is a nice walk with beautiful views and historical information about these spheres. I definitely recommend stopping and checking it out.

Came here on a whim looking at the local map and found a gem! The staff was friendly, everything inside was very informative. Walking around the outside was fascinating seeing how things had been discovered and unearthed. A good place to go to learn more about the history of Costa Rica!

If you have the slightest interest about the country you are visiting, this is a place well worth visiting. However, if you have a hard time spending a few dollars on a cultural place skip it and go to the beach straight. The small display is very informative and well presented. It is mind blowing to think that these huge stones were transported over water to Cano Island. Leaving one wondering about the civilisation preceding the European invasion. So much remains not understood of early times.

This is basically one of the only archeological sites in Costa Rica, the famous stone balls are a must for every archeology enthusiast. The museum is a let down, there aren’t that many balls to explore but I still think it was worth checking out these mysterious balls

A worthy stop if you are on the pacific coast or Osa. The history of this area is fascinating as are the stone spheres, mounds, and artifacts.

There is a new, modern, museum on site which is captivating, as well as an informative set up displays as you walk the grounds.

This museum is absolutely beautiful. The information is informative, and the land is stunning. Walking through here was like a small glimpse of the past. I do agree there should be more to see, but it is still worth the visit

If you are looking to have an educational experience then this is a must do on your Costa Rica trip. From pineapple fields to stones that generate heat to keep houses warm, you are sure to leave with a new understanding of living on the land.

Great way to spend a couple hrs with the family. Interesting exhibits in the museum, easy walk around the grounds to see the spheres. We also saw butterflies, monkeys, iguanas, and many birds.

I have always wanted to see the mysterious stone spheres found in Costa Rica. This museum has some. A few are in their original locations; some were recovered from other locations. The museum has descriptions, both text and video, of the culture that made and moved them.
