Great birding park if you only have a short time. We were on a cruise ship and picked up several species including a lifer (Black-and-white Owl). Be sure to walk to the adjacent beach for shore birds.

We met friends that were visiting Costa Rica the first time, via Norwegian Cruise Lines at the Port of Limon. We walked the park and was very impressed with evening in the park. We saw sloths, iguanas and many birds. We will be going back again to just visit and try to find more food places.

The park you can find Perezosos and Búhos around. Nothing else to see, just people asking for tips if you ask any information.

The town seems very poor, hope Costa Rica invest some money in that port.

I love it because you can look out to the ocean and clear your mind and relax. Plus the park is well kept and clean. Gotta love it!👌🏾👍🏾😎🌴

This is a very important place right in front of the Uvita island where Columbus arrived in 1502 and said what a beautiful an rich coast look to all the coconut trees we must get some🤔
