We had a great stay at the Salty Pelican. The rooms are very clean and cosy. The two owners are very friendly and put a lot of love into the place. The BBQ food is great and the pub has a nice atmosphere. Definitely going to come back here next time.

Great stay! In a area where hostels are pretty expensive Salty Pelicans was the only place we find that had reasonable prices for a nice and clean room. They have a great Bar that serves crazy good BBQ food. Check it out!

I had an amazing experience here!! The owners are a husband and wife and they are very sweet and accommodating!! The rooms have a rustic homey feel to them :) the restaurant is yummy and they have a full bar. I will definitely return when I come back to Costa Rica!!

What a fantastic little find! The Salty Pelican provides good food, great company, and easy access to anything you might want. Clean and comfortable rooms at a real bargain. Plan to stay there again soon. Kyle and Terry are exceptional hosts.
