Seeing multiple waterfalls up close and personal, with the mist upon your face, is well worth the visit. Be prepared for a moderate to tough trek along multiple winding stairs to see all of these stunning waterfalls. A light poncho and good hiking/walking shoes are recommended.

Outstanding value for the money! We spent nearly the entire day exploring the many attractions, stations and experiences this place has to offer. It is hard to beat the compact proportions and sheer number of things going on here. The Waterfalls are particularly beautiful and straightforward to access. BIG wow factor at nearly every turn of the walkway! We also found the toucan aviary especially vivid with colourful, active birds flying about our heads. Highly, highly recommended!

Nice waterfall, nice spot to take some nice pictures.
I think the offer tours, but we just stopped by when we were driving through and did some memories of photos with the family.

Wonderful place to visit. Just be aware of the tremendous amount of stairs to see it all. You don't however have to walk back up as there is a shuttle bus that brings everyone back to the start

What an amazing spot to visit! Only an hour away from San Jose airport, this beautiful place was a great activity before heading home. The animals were great to see, but the waterfalls are certainly the star of the show! The hike through the jungle to all of the viewing points was well maintained and got us up close and personal with the waterfalls. This is a must do activity for all! I was so impressed with how beautiful the grounds and buildings were. They have done a fantastic job creating a great space.

You will also see some animals and waterfalls. Lots of stairs to the waterfall. People with heart problems should take caution. Strongly recommend. Nice all you can eat restaurant inside a park.

This waterfall is located right off the main road. You can see if as you pass or you may stop on either side of the bridge for a closer look. There is a fair amount of parking available. There is a small trail that allows you to walk behind the waterfall.

I wouldn’t go out of your way to visit this waterfall but if you happen to be in the area it is definitely worth a stop.

There are tourist police on site as well, so you don’t need to worry about anyone breaking into your car while you visit the waterfall if you have luggage in your car.

It might be a bit touristy but still worth visiting for its sheer beauty. The animal sanctuary is kind of like a zoo. But the toucans, hummingbirds and frogs were fun to see. Be prepared to climb some stairs if you want to fully enjoy the waterfalls- it's well-worth it.

Showed up and saw sloths and jaguars, their butterflies were beautiful, and their birds exhibit allowed us to see tucans up close. Everything was absolutely amazing, I proposed at the top of the waterfalls and she said yes! there are 5 waterfalls in total.

With 4 waterfalls for 16$, this place is definitely a recommandations. We drove to parking 2 with a 4x2, this is not advised as the roads are quite steep

This is a fun place to visit set in a gorgeous rainforest area.
The foliage, wildlife and falls are great to see! There are a lot of stairs, especially to the falls, so those who have trouble with such be warned.
The restaurant that has the buffet is very good with options for picky eaters.

Not cheap, but a great place to spend 4-5 hours our more. Beautiful setting and amazing animals. Buffet lunch was abundant as well. Plenty of people on a Saturday, but didn't feel crowded. Waterfalls were a highlight. Trails are steep but well maintained and there is a shuttle at the bottom.

This is a must visit in Costa Rica. It's breathtaking.
The park is clean and well cared for, it isn't crowded, and you can get up close and personal with the animals and the scenery.

Such a beautiful place to visit the waterfalls was truly magical. All the animals were so cool and it was nice being able to learn so much about the wildlife. It is a little bit of walking and going up and down stairs but it is definitely worth it.

What an experience! If you visit you will not be disappointed. Just be ready for a serious hike up and down many stairs. It's worth it to see the beauty and power of the waterfalls.

This was great the trail is nice and the different animals at the conservatory are great. There are multiple waterfalls on the way down and then a souvenir shop at the bottom. A trolley to get back to the top. Recommend this visit highly.

Fabulous waterfalls and surrounding area. Well worth a visit. But you have to capable of walking up and down at least 500 steps. It is a gradual climb, I'm 70 with a wonky knee and managed it. Just takes time but it is worth it.

Excellent adventure when you come to Costa Rica. About an hour outside of San Jose and worth the trip to see the animals, falls and also a great place to get some pretty decent food & drink. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
