Good burger and chicken ! Beer was tasty. Quick walk from the beach. The yucca fries with the dipping sauce were surprisingly good. Plus, the live music was nice. Will come back again. The air/ water mist cool fans were a great added touch.

I must say....I was impressed with the Chef’s wings! The flappers remain unsplit and the wingtips offered up enough crispy skin and meat to warrant a few crunchy nibbles.

This place gives a cool yet cozy vibe to the Jaco area. We had the blackened Mahi-Mahi tacos, cajun yuca fries, and the fish burger. The fish comes in fresh daily. The tacos were some of the best tacos I've ever eaten in my life. The tortillas were fresh, and the slaw was crunchy and delicious. The yuca fries were a real treat! My boyfriend had the fish burger and said it was also amazing. They have homemade fries as well, which seems to be a rare find in Costa Rica. We had a flight to start, and all the beers we tried were delicious, but their IPA was particularly good. So much so that we brought a growler back with us! The service here was great; very attentive, very friendly. They also have live music a couple of times a week. It would be nice if they had live music nightly, that is my only suggestion for this place. Amazing food, amazing beer, amazing service!

Came here out of convenience to our hotel but it exceeded my expectations! I only had the Passionfruit Pale Ale but I really enjoyed it without being two sweet. For food I got the seared tuna burger with no ranch, and their passionfruit wing sauce instead. It was absolutely amazing. The owner also came by and gave us free stickers which was nice.

Bartender was talented with drinks and wonderfully engaging with discussion. Live music venue with excellent tasting and stage location. Mahi Mahi burger was a perfect balance of flavors and all of the craft beers on tap were tasty ales! We tried them all. Definitely going to return for more.

The food was really good. Tried the sliders and the yuca fries, they were both really good. Big stainless brewing tanks inside were really cool. the staff was really great and helped me pick a beer that was amazing.

This is the most amazing food we've had here period! On top house brews are amazing and our brewer who served us was exceptional to say the least! Cannot recommend this place enough

We really enjoyed our visit to Puddlefish! The staff was super friendly and attentive. We ordered the chili passion fruit chicken wings and they were literally finger licking good! House fries were also tasty and crisp. We tried 4 beers between the two of us and all were good and refreshing. Our only problem was we couldn't drink them fast enough before the heat warmed them up😅 would go back and would definitely recommend.

Fun local brewery in Jaco. Several locally brewed craft beers as well as a few from some other breweries. Good food, the crispy fish burger was outstanding with fresh fish brought in daily. They have corn hole and a few other outdoor games for you to enjoy with your beers.

We had such a great meal here. The bartender was so kind and helpful, she even recommended some other nearby places to check out. Highly recommended the patacones, I hadn’t had them before and they’re a new favorite food!

We had 25 people and the food came out on time,. The beer was cold and delicious in the service was outstanding. I can't recommend this place more. You've got to go there!

This place deserves your support. Take a moment and talk to to the staff and see the journey they’ve been on to get here…it’s so commendable! The beer is awesome, the vibe is HOME, the people are the best…whether you’re a lonesome traveler or a group. This place is an epic stop and so worth your dollla!

We were there for a wedding rehearsal dinner and it was the perfect choice to be able to mix and mingle with the others. Great food, awesome service and the live music was excellent!

The best place in Jaco!!! Adrian, the beertender, is super friendly and took the time to show us around the place telling us all about their ventures there. Great beer and mixed drinks. My wife and I were there for two days of our 10 day trip to Costa Rica and, after checking out the tourist trap of a town, Puddlefish was clearly the best place in town to relax and have a good time.

The tacos were amazing! We walked right in and sat down but we got here about 6:15. It got really busy around 6:30/7. I got mahi mahi and my husband got chicken tacos. They were both delicious. There was so much yummy sauce. Nothing was dry. The pickled jalapeños added just the right kick.
I will definitely be back.

Nice little microbrewery located in Jaco. Visited Jaco, Costa Rica from Arizona. We were pleasantly surprised to find this place and the beer was delicious. If you love beer or even just love a cool place to chill, I highly recommend checking this one out.

Beer was great, all of their food was good and the location was cool. Parking lot was big enough to hold our 2 vans and plenty more. Our group had a vegetarian and pescatarian and they left happy. I think we ended up buying all of their shirts.

This was our favourite place to eat and drink in Jaco! Beers were well priced and tasty. The food was also delicious. Great service! We visited twice while in Jaco for three days. Highly recommend!

This place was great. The building is very cool and the food was awesome. the beers that they brew are very good. just wish they had large sized shirts. only small was available. i went back the next day and had another beer. super cool place. the cuban sandwich was good, fish tacos and pesto chicken sandwich too

I've been here a handful of times and nothing to complain about. On the contrary, the food is delicious just as the beers are. They normally have 3-4 different craft beers on tap, equally as good.

I've also tried the smoothies from the bar and have plenty of fruit in them.

The customer service is just great, every time I go Kevin is my waiter who has gone above and beyond by giving me tops on local venues and experiences.

Location wise, it's fairly close to the main street, and parking is not an issue as they have ample parking space.

Finally, they have live music during the week, so be sure to check their Instagram account for that.

All in all, a great experience here.
