Café Mar

One of my favorite places in Jaco for lunch. The Pina coladas are great. I always get the chicken teriyaki, which is delicious! The food is always fresh and the service is great.

Had breakfast - overall very good, and the staff were very friendly. Potatoes were very well seasoned and crispy on the outside and the pancakes were GREAT! The only suggestion I would make, is to use a better bacon. The overall value is what pushes this place into 5-star territory. Good food priced right. Not a POSH destination, but cozy and clean. A recommend for sure!

Crazy good mixed nachos. Great service. The margarita was very authentic, not too sweet, not too sour, perfect. And a really good house hot sauce with their sauce collection.

What a great breakfast! My wife enjoyed the French toast, and I had the breakfast burrito. Best breakfast burrito ever! It wasn’t too packed, it was perfect. The hash browns and sauce only added to the experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food:
The food here is delicious. Their breakfast menu is amazing. As well as their lunch. You seem to get more food for lunch. This is a good place to get coffee too.

Price:
The price of the food is good. You get a good amount for what you pay.

Location:
It is located away from the main strip. It is more chill and quieter, which I enjoyed. It is walking distance to all the shopping.

Ambience:
Has an amazing vibe. There is a lot of seats here. They have a bar here. On the side of the building. There are a bunch of Iguanas just chilling. Great for tourist to enjoy.

Great little spot. Huevos rancheros was the best!

Food is amazing and with great selection

I'm very glad I came here. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I ordered the American Breakfast at the risk of being unadventurous but since I'm in Costa Rica for a month, it was for a taste of home. It was actually very different and unique which was a pleasant surprise. The pancakes were sweet, moist, and full of flavor with no need for butter or syrup. The sausages were deep-fried, eggs prepared just right, and the potatoes were incredible with a hint of cayenne pepper. I also had a blackberry smoothie which was fresh, tasty, and not too sweet. This will be a regular place for me during my stay in Costa Rica.

This is a nice spot for breakfast or lunch. Fair prices.

We had breakfast, French toast, breakfast burrito, American breakfast and tenderloin and everything was absolutely delicious!

My favorite place for breakfast lunch and dinner. Staff is friendly, they'll even play your favorite music. At lunch time they feed the iguanas. It's exciting to see them run over like dogs to treats

Thia restaurant is really close to the beach on the main strip. The food is freshly made and the atmosphere is great for an individual or a group. Visit this location.

Great place close to the beach. I had breakfast there. Superb coffee. Simple breakfast of sausages, egg and rice. Delicious and very affordable.

We stopped by Cafe Del Mar for breakfast a few days ago. The food was excellent and very tasty. The pancakes were great.
