What an amazing time we had at the hot springs, one we truly will never forget.
We rode horses up the road while bring accompanied by the friendliest dogs…such a cool experience.

There are many hiking trails but the two we went on with our guid were incredible! Lots of suspension bridges and waterfalls.

The hot springs are like nothing we experience before. The sauna is incredible, and the mud bath was an amazing feeling. To top it all off the hot spring pool is a relaxing experience that leaves your body feeling brand new.

We also recommend having a bite to eat there, amazing food and very friendly people there.

Please go and visit, you won’t regret it!

The food is amazing. Mud baths are awesome. Hot springs are very relaxing, not a very big excursion but overall fun!

An incredible experience to see the sulphuric deposits from the volcano to the spa like experience and mud bath, fun waterside. There is also a trip up the mountain to waterfalls and the rain forest

Very cool hot springs and mud bath. The entire place seemed carved by the water. Three soaking pools range from cold to hot. This is one of those experiences that you never get to have. If you have the opportunity to go, you really should.

Get in the mud. Take the pictures. Shower off. Do the sauna. Take the cold plunge. Then the warm one. Then the hot one. Basically a geothermal spa you would spend way more on elsewhere

We had an amazing afternoon here doing the sauna, mud bath, and hot tubs. Surprisingly it wasn't very busy, despite other attractions being full during the Easter weekend!

This is a splendid place to spend a day. For the waterfall tour, they take you on a ride in a wagon pulled by a tractor, and accompanied by the dogs, who have a great time as well. Then you stop for two different trails to the waterfalls, which are huge and absolutely stunning. Be aware that there are suspension bridges you have to walk across for each one. I am pretty afraid of heights, but these were well built and even I crossed them. The included lunch was typical CR food, very well prepared. The mud baths and soaking pools are a perfect way to spend the rest of the day. The whole place has lots of books and crannies to explore, and balances being rustic with being easy to access.

It was so much fun going through the rain forest through a hanging bridge which leads to a waterfall, then through the base of the volcano, seeing all the stem and ending in the steam and mud baths, followed by relaxing lounge at the naturally heated pool. Love it. After that, we took a short walk through the rain forest to get through the restaurant. On our way we say, lizards, monkeys and peacocks, all the while being escorted by a cute little winner dog. The food was fantastic. La gente, el lugar y el servicio todo muy increíble y super hermoso.

I didn't know I loved mud that much. The hot springs are amazing and the smell of sulphur let's you know it's the real deal.

I had a great massage in the open area and I want to sleep on that table all night.

A must for tourists looking for a real natural experience without all the fancy bells and whistles.

Wife and I had a lot of fun. She had the mud bath, and we both enjoyed the hot springs. And the lunch served was fantastic (we both had the tilapia).

This was a wonderful tour. The watefalls are beautiful, the lunch was delicious and the mud baths and hot springs were great. Not a lot of people we had the bath and springs to ourselves. The people were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

What an amazing and fun experience! Horseback riding, suspension bridge, lots of water falls, refreshing cold dip in one on a hike, seeing bubbling water and mud, sitting in the volcanic sauna, covering with mud, sitting in hot springs! I may smell like sulfur, but it was AMAZING!!! If you're wondering if you should take this tour and spend the money, I would say, do it!! It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience! 😊 Alex, our driver, did a great job navigating the roads and traffic, and Jovanna our guide, explained so much about Costa Rica to us and took pictures for us. Friendly service and great memories made! Loved it!

Had a great time at Las Hornillas! we did the waterfall and hot springs combo tour which included a lunch. Waterfalls were beautiful and not a far hike at all. The mud baths and hot springs felt great on the skin and were just what the body needed after the past couple days of hiking!

The volcano and hot springs was a really cool place to visit. We did an expedition/tour with Arenas to this place. The guides were great. We rode horses, had a small hike, toured the secondary caldera, and then soaked in some mud and hot springs. The smell of sulfur is not the best, but it was a great experience.

I had an amazing experience I'll remember for the rest of my life.. I rode horses and walked across some hanging bridges with perfect views. Ate a yummy lunch, bathed in volcano mud and relaxed in a soothing hot springs pool.. one of my favorite days in Costa Rica!
