Soda Las Tunas

Since moving here this has become one of our favorite local spots. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All are great! You can't go wrong.

You’ll pass through the small town of Matapalo before you arrive to Playa grande & Soda Las Tunas is a reliable stop for a solid meal. A simple typical Costa Rican food served quickly. Fresh and always quite good! On Mondays they have Olla de Carne soup 👍🏼

DELICIOUS does not even describe how good the food is here. Not to mention two people eat for $12 usd! The service is also phenomenal. Don't forget to order the tamarindo refresca! For all of the country fans...that's a Kip Moore replica in the picture ;)

Was passing through and had a wonderful local lunch, super glad I stopped. Don't forget the ice cream for dessert. The people were Super friendly. The food was delicious

Stayed in Playa Grande for just over a week and visited this place a few times. Our favorite place to eat in the area for sure! Great food and prices and very friendly staff! Our favorite dishes were the arroz con mariscos and the fried shrimp plate. They also have great breakfast and lunch specials for low prices!

Personnel accueillant, nourriture typique, simple et savoureuse. Cantine familiale située dans le quartier Matapalo. Ne pas se fier à l’allure d’un restaurant. Ça fait parti du charme du quartier et de l’expérience du voyage.

Mention spéciale pour la dorade et du arroz de pollo.
