Economy Rent a Car Liberia

I’ve been using Liberia Economy in Costa Rica for the past 4 years. The person that always helps me there is Dennis and he is always really welcoming and supportive. I highly recommend their services and I truly appreciate the care that they always had with me.

Had a wonderful experience with Economy and Dennis Perez. I rented a 12 passenger van but it was a smaller size and he helped me upgrade and took good care of everything for me, including getting the second vehicle cleaned quickly. He was very pleasant and treated all of the customers very well. Highly recommend. Muchas gracias!

Jose Mora was amazing! Took the time to explain all The insurance options to make sure we could save money using our credit card insurance but also making sure we were fully covered for our trip in Costa Roca! This was a wonderful experience from the start to finish . Economy was great but Stanley was was even better, the level of customer service we received from Stanley was world class! I had heard many stories of bad experiences of people rented cars in Costa Rica but Economy and Stanley have showed me that there can be a great experience with rented a car in Costa Rica.

The pick up from the airport was very smooth. It's a bit of drive from the airport however the service is fast and very efficient. Kelly was fantastic going over all the information of the rental. Keep in mind there are fees due to insurance coverage however they were clear and upfront about the cost. I was impressed that Kelly had us video the car, including underneath the vehicle before we left. I think this is the first rental company that has provided this advice.

What makes this place above and beyond are the employees. Every rental car company in the world will sell different insurance coverages. That’s nothing new and I understand why people get upset. These employees however all went above and beyond. From the check out process, to returning the car. By the way I’m glad I bought the insurance, I hit a pothole or something and the plastic under the front bumper was a bit damaged. No issues returning the car when I had the full coverage and nothing out of my pocket. I was running very late to the airport from traffic bringing back the car. The employees dropped everything, got me checked out very quickly, and made sure I got to the airport on time. They literally even walked me into the airport to make sure I made the flight. I haven’t seen people care like this about someone else maybe in my life. These are genuinely some of the nicest people I have met and I cannot thank them enough.

Economy and Dennis Perez is who you should rent your car from in Costa Rica. I’ve been working with Dennis for a few years and he is always reliable, provides the best rates, and is always earlier for your complementary airport shuttles. It’s quick and easy. Thank you Dennis for all your hard work and support over the years.

Great service I highly recommend this rental company. We rented our car at the Lir airport. The agent at the counter was very personable and helpful and guided me through the options available.

We have rented from this Economy 4 times in the last year and we've had no problems. Stanley has taken care of us every time and we won't rent from anywhere else!

We recently purchased a property in the area and needed to find a good rental car company. After renting from a few different companies in Costa Rica, Economy came out as the most consistently positive experience. The prices are fair, the people are kind and helpful, and the cars are always in good condition.

Traveling to Costa Rica from the states. This is exactly where you need to be renting. Everything was SMOOTH. They gave us water for this heat and took care of us. Highly recommend you choosing Economy to take care of you. Jose was our concierge and he took care if us. Gold standard.

Once again we selected the right company and person to book our rental with. Minor Vargas set everything up for our family and made it so easy! Car was clean and ready to go. Highly recommend contacting Minor when you need a rental in Liberia. Great service!

After having not so good experience renting a car from other car rental companies around the airport, this time it was a complete opposite positive experience renting a car from Economy here. Minor was great with explaining all the different car options including the insurance fees that could be confusing at times. The car itself was very clean, and overall a service was friendly and prompt. We visit Liberia regularly and I am glad that we found this place to rent a car with no trouble next time we come here.

Stanley is great. We booked, picked up and returned our vehicle all though him. He made everything very easy and seemless. Will definitely rent through him again.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Minor Vargas at Economy in Liberia. I rented the vehicle for 9 days. The airport pickup and drop off was super quick and easy. Minor took care of everything before and during our stay. I got a fantastic 4wd vehicle, which was in great shape. I highly recommend a 4wd car in Costa Rica. At time of pickup, Minor had our car waiting and ready. There were no surprises and I paid exactly what I was quoted. I highly recommend renting your car from Economy, their prices are the best and their service is exceptional. Be sure to ask for Minor, this guy is on top of his game and he will treat you right.
