Casas del Toro Playa Flamingo

Pleasantly surprised! My spouse and I stayed for just a night in mid November 2023, while we waited for our nearby condo in Flamingo to become available. We would have gladly extended our stay. The grounds and facility are gorgeous. The room was spare but functional and comfortable. The service was friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

I little off the beaten path but a wonderful little sanctuary. The staff were all super helpful, and the property is very charming and peaceful. Rooms are pretty basic but they are new and clean. Lunch by the pool was a dream.

The place was great, breakfasts were excellent, ate a few suppers which were very good as well. The gardens were beautiful, as was the pool. Loved all the orchids too. Marten was very knowledgeable and had lots information about the area, etc.

Beautiful! The grounds are green and lush and clean. The staff are wonderful also. Nice and helpful without being underfoot. It feels private yet convenient. The onsite restaurant and bar are great! The beds are comfortable, and sheets and towels soft. The water pressure in the bathroom is a bit weak, but ok for a nice relaxing shower. Happy we stayed here and would 100% recommend to others!

Beautiful place, comfortable rooms and great service! Couldn't ask for anything more. Muni is super nice and helpful and was always available to provide support. The rooms were super clean, beds were extremely comfortable and the pool was perfect. I highly recommend this place. I will be back again.

I stayed at Casa del Toros for two weeks in May 2023 while attending the CPI Spanish Immersion program for medical Spanish. I am a seasoned traveler, who is familiar with the differences between American five star and Central American five star hotels. The first thing you need to know: a family of howler monkeys lives in the trees on the property. Now, if you do not enjoy and are not fascinated by howler monkeys, I am very sorry for you and you should not stay here. For me, howler monkey television is the hottest show to sit in many of the stunningly manicured gardens and watch for hours on end. The next thing: Casa del Toros has hotel rooms, which are pretty standard hotel rooms; or apartments. The apartments are amazing! Mine had a full living room, dining room, and full kitchen with full size refrigerator/freezer, oven/stove, and microwave. I had 2 TVs, ceiling fans throughout, and a bathroom that rivals a Las Vegas hotel bathroom. There is a restaurant on property that makes amazing pancakes, nachos, salads, and is happy to bring it to you to enjoy poolside. I loved how meticulous the daily cleaners were and how genuinely lovely the entire staff was. I will be back twice this year to continue my medical Spanish studies and I am staying here again. You can't beat the location, but, seriously, the monkeys. Two baby monkeys! I'm telling you: you should book it if you want to enjoy monkeys in their natural habitat every day, all day.

Great place, super nice helpful staff, room was nicely updated and clean, hats off to the chef at the onsite restaurant for dinner and breakfast, both were fantastic! Felt safe as property was gated and had all night security.

A really wonderful 2 week experience. Facilities were only exceeded by a really great, friendly staff. Enjoyed the breakfasts, pools, great beds, staff. Highly recommend.
