Pacific Soul Sailing

Had an amazing full day charter yesterday with my wife and two teenage daughters. Captain Nick, Dylan, and George were outstanding. Of course expert seamen, but also always there with an offer to grab us a drink or to make anything about our experience customized to what we wanted to do. Imagine the most isolated, remote, picturesque beach, only accessible by boat, where you’re the only ones there to kayak, SUP, float or to just sit and admire this amazing part of our earth. And then imagine cruising by the amazing Catalina Islands, seeing a humpback breach a few times and then the most amazing sunset possible. Nick, enjoyed spending time with you chatting up at the helm. The book we discussed is The Wager. Check it out. And thank you for taking care of my girls. km

What a great afternoon on the sunset cruise with our group of 10 . Willie was our concierge and planned the trip to perfection- very prompt in all conversations.We ran into a storm on the way out but it did not ruin the trip at all.
The snacks, dinner and drinks were exceptional. The crew of Captain Nick, First mate Lucas and Second mate George worked hard all trip. They were very polite and very knowledgeable of our trip.
We highly recommend this trip to others.

Nick (captain), George, & Lucas: we had an amazing time on our 8 hour private boat! We went for my 30th birthday & they were very good at checking in with us on how we were doing or if we wanted another drink. The snacks and lunch they made were phenomenal; we had guacamole, salsa, chips, popcorn, fresh fruit, pork & chicken tacos, veggies & much more. The boat had 2 paddle boards, 1 kayak, snorkeling gear for everyone, floaties, a hammock, & many seating areas. They took many pictures for us. They provided towels and sunscreen. The bathrooms were neat and clean. They also had beds below deck if we wanted to nap. They made us feel at home & even stopped on the way back so we could get a group picture with the gorgeous sunset. 10/10 recommend if you want to enjoy a private boat for the day in Costa Rica. Thank you for making my birthday trip extremely memorable!

My family spent the week sailing with Pacific Soul Sailing, and it was one of the best trips we have taken! The crew (Mark, Nick, & Lukas) were absolutely amazing. Great drinks and great food. We were able to surf, snorkel, sand up paddle board, fish, and visit towns along the coast, all while relaxing and sailing the beautiful Costa Rican ocean! I would highly recommend this trip and company to anyone. The quality of the trip and crew were truly a highlight!

Such an amazing experience for our families. The crew and boat exceeded expectations, everything was first class. Lucas, Dillon and the crew prepared great meals & bottomless drinks. Tons of wildlife and sight seeing. We caught several fish, saw dolphins, turtles, manta rays, fish, etc. We explored beautiful private islands and beaches, along with star gazing in a secluded and calm cove at night. So many other great activities (Fishing, Kayaking, SUP, Snorkeling, etc.) and memories came from this experience! Thank you to Lucas, Dillon and the crew! Can't wait to come back and sail with you guys again!

We visited Playa Conchal for week, have charted a private sailboat before, and Dillin and crew were just terrific. Professional in every way and reasonable for what we got. 4 hr sail up the coast, snorkeling ,food, drinks. They constantly asked if we needed anything. We’ll be back!

Thank you Pacific Soul for an amazing day! Lucas, Dillon and Alonso were so kind, professional and hard working. They made our time relaxed and joyful. The food was soo delicious and the drinks plentiful (thx George!). Our family of four couldn't stop smiling. After a beautiful sail out, the crew took us to a secluded beach for great snorkeling, swimming and any sort of float you might want. Bucket List Overnight Experience

Sleeping on a boat under the stars was on our family bucket list and Pacific Soul exceeded all expectations. Little did we know that we would swim in bioluminescence, eat like kings and queens and hear the fascinating stories of Captain Mark transporting yachts through unfriendly waters too! We created memories that we will all remember forever.

Pacific Soul is beautifully appointed and can comfortably sleep eight people in its four sleeping cabins. However, Mark anchored us in such a private and serene cove under a thick blanket of unimaginable stars, so six of us opted to sleep on deck instead. This was after we swam, snorkeled and paddle-boarded in the afternoon and then watched the sun set while enjoying happy hour cocktails in the ocean, while floating on noodles and eating a beautifully prepared and presented dinner.

Mark is easy to work with, responsive and willing to customize timing, location and menus, based on availability. He and his staff provide unobtrusive service or will sit down at the table with you and share their stories, if you would like. Their attention to detail in everything from ensuring our safety to setting a beautiful table was amazing.

When we came back into shore about 15 hours later, we were all thoroughly relaxed. Our four teens had been completely unplugged yet totally dialed in. This was money well spent and we would highly recommend Pacific Soul to other local expats looking for a staycation or to visitors willing to venture off the typical tourist trail for a truly memorable experience.

My family of 8 adults and 10 grandchildren too the Sunset Cruise on the Pacific Soul on Tuesday June 28, 2023. In spite of the fact the roads near Playa Flamingo were treacherous, everyone agreed it was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica.
Captain Lucas made sure everyone was safe at all times, especially when we stopped to snorkel. George was a wonderful bartender and the drinks kept flowing the entire voyage! Dillon's mom made the food, and it was something to behold. The plantains and the pork literally melted in your mouth.
Captain Lucas stopped the boat at one point so my grandkids could jump off the boat. They loved it!
It is impossible not to have a wonderful day on the Pacific Soul. The boat itself is incredible. There is plenty of room for everyone, and the crew is first class. Thanks for making our day on the water something special! Pura Vida

The day before our trip with Lucas and his crew I got some horrible news. I almost didn’t go on our day long charter. But I did and it was amazing. The crew was kind and welcoming and never stopped making sure we had a great time. We had 6 adults and two kids and spent a glorious day cruising the coast. The food was fantastic. And the boat was perfect. I’ve rented cats before in various places but this trip was above and beyond due to the attention to detail and the genuine care of the crew. Thank you so much for giving me a great day.

We had a wonderful sunset cruise on Pacific Soul. The captain and crew were so attentive! They took very good care of us with plenty of food, drinks and water toys. Highly recommend this boat!

Great experience! We sailed out of Playa Potrero for a sunset cruise. Captain and crew was really amazing! Food was pura vida and my drink was always full! Highly recommend these guys, 1st class!

This is one of only a handfull of reviews I have ever left. We went out for a morning 4 hour cruise today and had Nick, Lucas & Elozondo (sp?). The boat is fantastic, very comfortable, large and you just can't beat a catamaran. Very smooth ride, even with some choppy conditions the boat is very stable. The cruise was a bday gift for my 80 year old mother and we also had my 90 year old father who has limited mobility. The crew was beyond helpful in helping him get on and moving him around. We were not a big drinking bunch but the rum punch was fantastic. The spread of food was perfect and delicious. We are now living here and will have many friends visiting throughout the year. We will definately make a cruise with Pacific Soul Sailing a staple for our friends when they come. Really just a perfect way to spend the day! Thank you!

Came to Costa Rica with family and friends to celebrate my brother’s birthday. Had a recommendation for Pacific Soul Sailing and contacts them before we arrived. Booking was super simple and Mark and his team went of their way from our first contact with them to set us up for a fabulous experience. Boat was beautiful. Crew was outstanding and were so accommodating and gracious. The views were breathtaking and the little beach we stopped at was heaven. After swimming and snorkeling we had a fantastic meal and got back in time to watch the sunset on the water. The boat itself has 4 bedrooms and 4 baths and is the perfect option for over night trips as well. Kudos to the Pacific Soul team. They are a class act and will be part of any trip we make to Costa Rica in the future.

My family surprised me with a birthday cruise and all I can say is ... BEST DAY EVER!!! The owner greeted us on shore even though he was working 3 other emergent issues all morning and left us in the capable hands of Lucas, Nick and Luisas. They were nothing short of awesome. Beautiful ride on a beautiful boat and they fed us well and ensured we did not go thirsty. Took us to the best snorkeling cove and finished the day off with the sun setting over the ocean. If you’re looking to charter a boat, this is the one. The crew was excellent, the service unbeatable and the boat was top notch. Our family of nine, ages 3-54, all had a great time. Captain Nick and his crew were very accommodating. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. Highly recommended.
