Excellent experience!!! We had a minor medical issue with our daughter. Not only was there no line, the front desk processed our travel insurance and had all paper work in English. We were in to see the Doctor before we could even sit down and wait and had a prescription filled out right there. Clearly explained in English and left very relieved and comforted about the situation.

I came in from Canada and I was very unwell.
The staff made me feel very comfortable and Dr.Arias was very reassuring and made me feel safe and in good hands.

Took great care of me while traveling. Arranged fast transport to hospital in San Jose. Gracias to all of you and your help and patience.

Great clinic. My son fell and split his head open close by. They were able to get us in right away, 4 stitiches, antibiotics, and wound cream in 30 minutes. Cost around $138 usd for everything.

Good service. Cost 70USD to be checked and around 10-12USD for antibiotics.

Sometime they accept travel insurance sometime not. Better to call before and set a meeting

We received a good care for my daughter (17 years old) on Dec 31, 2021. Took approx 2 hours , $70 for doctors consultutation, $50 for blood and urine tests, and $30 for antibiotics. After having the prescribed antibiotic the symptoms subsided and she started to feel much better. Good and clean facility, we didn't have to wait for long. Recommend.

Got a really painful neck/shoulder injury. Initially went to a pharmacy and was given painkillers which barely reduced the pain I was in. Made the decision to go to the medical centre and couldn't be happier with the service received. I was examined, x-rayed, diagnosed with a subluxation of the shoulder and then put on intravenous pain relief and anti inflammitrories before being given some medication to take away. The whole thing cost $178 which I'll be able to claim back through insurance. There was no wait and the whole thing was done in about 2 hours. Great service.

Had to go there because my girlfriend had an infection on her foot. Staff was really nice and helpful and the doctor seemed very competent as well and spoke good English. Also, we only had to wait a few minutes. Price was 70$ for the consultation + the meds they prescribed. Can definitely recommend!

Came here for a COVID-19 test at 8am on a Tuesday. I was able to book an appointment online right before I arrived but probably didn't need to, as the place wasn't busy at all. Be sure to bring your passport with you for your test!

I filled out some information on my phone after scanning a QR code and got my antigen test done soon after. The antigen test was $70, payable by cash or credit card. I received my test results within 2 hours.

US travelers take your Covid-Antigen test here. If your traveling in the La Fortuna Costa Rica area this is the best price in a 2 hour radius. Cost is $60 USD cash or $65 USD with a credit card. Resorts are charging $85-$200 for the antigen test. Airports are charging $75-$85.

I have received excellent care at this facility. I have been in for lab tests, x-rays, broken ribs, pain management. I felt well cared for, all of my needs were met and the cost was very reasonable.

Son got a staph infection. Doctor was great and we were in and out in 30 minutes. This is like an urgent care facility with onsite pharmacy.

I have great service there x-rays right off the back communications help with great love spice definitely go to it

El Centro Médico Sanar está ubicado en La Fortuna de San Carlos y atiende todos los días de 7 am a 7 pm. Ofrece gran variedad en especialidades médicas y su atención e verdaderamente excepcional.
En cuanto a sus instalaciones tengo que decir que son del primer mundo. El consultorio odontologico tiene pantalla de TV para disfrutar de alguna programación mientras se realiza el tratamiento correspondiente.
Tienen sala de observación, sala de emergencias y shock, laboratorio clínico y farmacia.
Hay acceso para sillas de ruedas, pago con tarjetas, efectivo y sinpe móvil y además dan servicio de citas programadas con especialistas.

Wir haben das Medical Center aufgesucht, da mein Mann auf einer Wanderung gestürzt war. Alles ging super schnell, der betroffene Fuß wurde geröntgt, ein Orthopäde hat sich online die Röntgenbilder angeschaut und festgelegt, wie weiter behandelt werden sollte. Dieses wurde - auch Dank der angeschlossenen Apotheke - ganz fix umgesetzt und nach nicht einmal einer Stunde konnten wir das Medical Center wieder verlassenen - samt Unterarmgehstützen, einem Boot zur Stabilisierung des gebrochenen Wadenbeins und den Röntgenbildern, die wir per E-Mail erhalten haben. Der ansässige Arzt sprach sehr gut Englisch und alle waren super freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und können das Medical Center uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
Kosten für alles zusammen ca. 300 US $ (ca. 150 US $ für die ärztliche Behandlung und ca. 150 US $ für die Stützen, den Boot und Schmerzmittel für 5 Tage).
