We came for a swim n soak. But we stayed to eat and then went on the slides. I feel like I should say I'm 210 and 6ft and over 50, now the slides have some very clear information posted before you start your adventures. It is pretty Lear that if you are over 55 (I'm not) that you should turn around. Also if you can't be an adult and be responsible for your actions of climbing a slippery slope and steps that are also tremendously slippery, you should turn back. I read the signs and kept going. We went down the long slide and it gets your blood pressure up for sure. Oh I should mention this was at night and they don't have lights in there. Because I'm afraid of getting old we crawled our way back up for round two. If you think this ends well then you might not know me. Again I say I am a big guy and oddly enough I don't float! So round 2 and we pick the faster slide that is still a longer ride. The middle one. Also the finger I would like to give this slide. I sometimes feel like Darwin is gunning for me. And so I don't know how but
I managed to do a barrel roll inside the tube on the way down to the plunge of death. Also not sure if I didn't passout for a few seconds from fear of the speed I was going. Then at the end I do a depth check of the splash pool the created a tsunami of epic size. Maybe equal to the parting of the Red Sea? Meanwhile as I have dispatched all the soft water that should be protecting my back from the bottom of the pool, I'm exfoliating my back like a road rash. So in short we had a fantastic time!!!! I'd do it all again except for the last slide. Be safe, know your own limitations and don't act you age.

Really enjoyed our stay at Baldi! Junior suites were very large and comfy. Beds are super comfy. The thermal pools are all amazing. Breakfast buffet was good. Buffet and restaurant are pretty good too. Would recommend staying here.

We stayed one night at this location, breakfast was included and it was pretty good with a wide selection of food to choose from. We had a nice sized room that was in a quiet location. There are multiple pools at this resort and at night the lights look nice when you are bathing. I suggest to book way in advance because prices can go up quickly. Will definitely come back one day.

We got the day pass and spent a few days here and it was fantastic. Clean and friendly. Leave your credit card at the front and you can order drinks and food anywhere and pay up at the end. Bring your own towel or you can put a $10 deposit to use one of theirs. Lockers are available for a fee, which we did not use.

We've been here for day passes to the pools twice over the past 18 months. It's a great way to spend an afternoon, drifting from pool to pool, experiencing the different temperatures and features like waterfalls, saunas, slides.

Most of the pools have swim-up bars for ordering drinks (and maybe food?) Wasn't very crowded during our three hours there, but there were noticeably more people by the time we left.

The grounds overall are clean and well-maintained, giving some sense of being in the jungle. You may even spot some tropical birds moving through the palms and other plants.

We did not stay at the hotel, so I cannot opine on the rooms and accommodations. But all staff that we encountered were courteous and friendly.

We would definitely go back a third time if in La Fortuna again.

This place is a great place to go check out if your ever in Costa Rica, the hot springs are amazing, they got many different pools with different temperatures. They also have a few swim up bars so that you don't have to get out off the water. Food was pretty good also, the drinks were a little light on the liquor so I just stuck to the beers but the beer menu could be upgraded, they only have like 4 beers to choose from. I think that a establishment of this caliber should have a better selection of beers and stronger drinks, of coarse you can buy a extra shot of liquor but after you do that it finally taste like a regular mixed drink and not 1 that you have added extra liquor too. I'm not a big drinker but I do like to taste the alcohol in my drinks when I do have 1.

Only went there with the day pass, but what a gorgeous place. We were looking for some VERY hot water, and we definitely got it here in Baldi. The water at the top is extremely hot, along with the one in the natural sauna. Plenty of pools with different water temperatures to accommodate everyone’s needs. Kid-friendly, but does not feel like an amusement park at all.

My only concern is that extreme toboggan…… my neck will remember it for a long time. Way too steep and fast. Your head just bangs around the toboggan until you come out of it like a BULLET.

The dinner buffet was decent, but if I was to go back, I wouldn’t pay for the dinner. You’re better off getting food outside the resort. :)

These hot pools were amazing! The temperatures were all different, which made it really nice. The natural steam room was very cool. The price is about $45 per person, but if you're there all day, it would be worth it. There is plenty for adults and kids. I would recommend you visit if you're in the area.

Fair warning, the slides lead to super shallow waters, you'll end up regretting it.

Went here on a day pass. If you're tired of trekking or just need a break from the jungle this is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy some drinks in a really unique hot springs/waterpark. Entry fee for the day and drink prices are a little on the high side $47 to enter, around $8 for a beer. That said it is a totally unique experience. I think they have 14 hot spring fed pools. 5 or 6 of those have swim up bars. Parking can be tough for day pass visitors. You have to park along the road outside of the hotel property and it can get crowded. Another fun and unique experience in Costa Rica.

We did a day pass visit which I think is the way to go. You do not need cash, you set up a tab on entry for purchases. Lunch was fine, not our best meal in CR but it’s a decent buffet. The pools are amazing and we thought we would try them all since we spent almost all day here - we didn’t. It’s too big and too nice to keep moving around so we relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. I highly suggest bringing your own towels. It isn’t expensive to rent but we never saw a single place to swap for new dry one so not worth it. Drinks are on the pricier side. The water slides are dangerous. Like really dangerous. Lots of people got hurt while we were there on the middle slide. DO NOT RIDE THE MIDDLE SLIDE! Doesn’t matter if you are a super fit teenager, odds are you are getting hurt. There are signs - read the signs and do not ride that slide. Ride the other two if you are feeling risky. If you are still considering riding the middle slide do not go to Baldi. You are going to ruin the next few days of vacation being sore and in pain. Besides that the place is spectacular. We spent an entire day there, it rained the entire day, and we still loved it and could easily do another day. Go and enjoy!

I don't know anything about accommodation, I used a one day pass.
The place is beautiful and has so many spring water pools.
I prefer Baldi over Los Lagos. These 2 I've seen and I can compare!

We stayed three nights at this location, breakfast was included and it was pretty good. We had a nice sized room that was in a quiet location. There are so many pools to choose from and a really fun water slide area as well. Within driving distance to many restaurants and close to hiking to the volcano

We purchased a day pass to use the hot springs. It was well worth it, several hot and cool pools are situated on site. The natural hot sauna was incredible. Highly recommend going to pools where both hot and cool pools exist. Switching between them was really nice. The kids section in Baldi is small but well designed, it will keep the kids entertained. Overall was pleasantly surprised by the size of this hot springs resort

We did a day pass for the hot springs and it was so worth it. There are varying temperatures and even water slides. They also have a kids area. There are lockers, showers and lots of bars plus the restaurant but you have to be dry and dressed to go to the restaurant. The day pass also had an option for food which is a buffet but we didn't get that. This was a great ending to the day after cold canyoning. We spend about 3 hours here and got to try all the hot springs.

Great hotel with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The many hot springs and pools were a huge plus after a long day. Was very nice to hang out and relax after long days exploring the jungle. Breakfast buffet was amazing every morning.

Baldi was very nice. A little on the pricey side but overall very good. I would recommend a 2 day stay if going. Lots to do in the area nearby! Marlon was the best bartender!! Super funny and easy going gentleman!

WoW 🤩 top notch! Awesome campus - view of the volcano 🌋, 25 hot springs on campus. Very clean, professional, and fun. Private parking. Everyone is so sweet and helpful. Hotel made arrangements for us to zip line down the side of the volcano transportation included. Awesome adventure. Excellent relaxation. Absolutely beautiful!!

The receptionist at our hotel recommended Baldi Hot Springs and placed the reservation for us with lunch. The rate was reasonable and the experience was amazing. The lunch buffet had a nice amount of options, something to please everyone. It was a wonderful way to spend the whole afternoon outdoors in December (instead of shoveling snow). We highly recommend.

We did a pasadía (day pass) at night from about 6 pm until 9 pm, but it is open until 10 pm. We thoroughly enjoyed it! It was nice to experience different pools with different temperatures, water features, and relaxation elements. The slides are too much fun, but be prepared they are extreme slides! Well, one slide is simple. If you go from sundown, it is not as crowded with hotel guests who may be out having dinner. At night, it's cooler without the sun and perfect to enjoy the hot springs. Nighttime also makes the slides more extreme because they are completely dark inside. You can't see anything until you shoot out into the water below! Super loco!
