Buddha House, Playa Grande, Costa Rica

Amazing! Just what we needed. Casa Buddha had everything we hoped for and more. This home has so much charm. It is well lit, like a fairy tale as you come up the entry onto the porch, which for me is my favorite place to hang out and relax all times of the day, with its hanging chair and hammock. A great place to watch the sun rise, listen and sometimes watch the howler monkeys, birds and butterflies. We stayed in the main house which has great views all around with floor length windows to enjoy the outside while cooling off inside with a little A/C. We slept great and came home and purchased the amazing soft bamboo sheets that keep you cool all night long. Daisy is a great host. She helped us with rides to and from the airport, places of interest and local eating spots with not just yummy but healthy food choices that are just next door or around the corner. I’m not done gushing about this stay...the POOL...it has a private pool for the house with outdoor shower and BBQ. I could have stayed in the pool all day but why when the beach is just a ten minute walk through the neighborhood. I could keep going on and on and you will see why when you start your adventure as we did.
