Capriccios Pizza Bistro & Cafe

The BEST dining experience at Margaritaville in Costa Rica! The service by Jaime, Fiona & Janet as well as the other staff was tremendous. We ate there for both nights of our stay and every meal was delicious. Jaime is truly world class- he went above and beyond with his service and shows such passion for the food. 10/10

Somehow the best pizza I have ever had! Perfectly crispy, delicious toppings, everything sized right. I will dream about this pizza forever.

We had such a great experience here during our stay at Margaritaville Beach Resort. Jaime goes above and beyond with his service and kindness. They have talented staff, delicious food, and great atmosphere. We tried a new dish every night and always loved it. Thank you for treating us to such a lovely time!

It was a shame we didn't visit Capriccios sooner during our visit at Margaritaville! The service provided by Jaime, Fiona, Carlos, and Joshua was amazing! These individuals provided a great dining experience, and the food was simply prepared, however, delightful.
Jaime is exceptional! We saw him throughout our stay at the resort and was always welcoming and gracious!

I ate here multiple times during my weeklong stay in Costa Rica. The food was delicious, and the staff members were always so kind and friendly - especially Fiona and Jaime. I have a gluten allergy and Jaime always remembered me when I came in and made sure I was taken care of. Their personal touch went a long way. I highly recommend!

Celebrated a wonderful anniversary dinner at Capriccios! The staff was incredibly welcoming and the food was delicious. We had such a great time that we came back for our last night in Costa Rica. Pura vida!

Nos recibió Jaime y desde el principio fue muy amable, el restaurante estaba lleno y se preocupó por darnos un menú y ofrecernos bebidas, cuando nos dieron la mesa la atención siempre fue de primera y se preocuparon por cada detalle. Fue una experiencia increíble. La pizza es muy buena, les recomiendo la de 3 carnes y como postre un calzone con Nutela y Helado

Reservations required which I’m sure is because the place is very small. We asked last minute and were grateful they were able to offer us a reservation in 20 minutes so we hurried and got there only to find 1/4 of the restaurant was filled and it stayed that way. The waiter was super nice. Pizza and pasta only for the most part. Started with a warm beer and soda. Food was okay but not great. Got a plain pizza that the sauce dominated and wasn’t the best, but not bad. Also got Alfredo that tasted like nutmeg and was a very small portion. Not the worst, but there definitely has to be better options out there.

About the food…for me the pizza recipe needs to be changed, the dough had no salt/flavor, the bottoms of the pizzas were pale making it soggy to the bite, the pizza sauce lacked flavor, the cheese they use has a weird granulated texture and the toppings were low quality for the price they charge, I hope they fix the recipe for the pizza.

The place is beautiful, I like how we can see the chefs working/cooking, it adds a great vibe, order anything else from the menu, I know it will taste great but I would not recommend the pizza.

Food decent - but very loud people - especially one particular fellow who tal d very loud with no respect or seemingly unaware of other diners. they had background music but you could not hear it. It was so loud with the people. Its a very small place too - surely the manager could have just politely asked them to tune it down a notch. But no he didnt. So we ate fast and didnt stay for dessert. Left the noise !!!!!

The worst Italian food I’ve ever had in my entire life. Worse than the food, are the prices they charge you for serving horrible food. The Caesar salad is literally two leaves of romaine lettuce left whole with a small cup of Caesar dressing. Than they had the audacity to charge $20 for it lol. The Caprese salad was horrible but also hilarious. They cooked a whole roma tomato and stuck a stale bread stick through it. It looked like an ancient artifact more than any caprese salad I’ve ever seen. And for the “pièce de résistance” was the pizza. Omg. The Pizza looked AND tasted like they were out of a super market freezer and then microwaved and then quickly shoved through an oven so that it had the appearance that it was cooked in an oven. Lol it did not. The other restaurants aren’t that good at Margaritaville, but this one, Jesus Christ, needs to condemned.
