Café Negro Liberia

We were looking for a place to work remotely for the day and this was the perfect spot! The design is so cool, service was friendly, and the coffee and paninis were delicious. They kindly let us stay her for most of the day - thank you!

We tried this place our first night in Liberia. Café negro is using specialty coffee and quality ingredients for their food. We tried a black hot pour over, an iced cocoa latte and the beef arepa. This was my favorite meal of the day. I enjoyed it so much that I made a note to come back once we were back in Liberia. A few days later we’re back in town and we tried the hot cocoa latte and the pork arepas. The flavors were so good! I enjoyed everything from the coffee, food to the decor of the place. This is definitely a must try and I would highly recommend for anyone visiting to stop by! The staff and the owner Henry were very welcoming and knowledgeable about coffee. Thank you for having us!

My daughter and I came across this cafe while walking around Liberia. It's air conditioned, clean, unique decor, and really good coffee and food. The staff is very friendly. We both loved our food and drinks.

Delicious and unique coffee shop doing single origin coffee. I got an amazing pour over from Henry the owner. Don’t forget to try the food either it was sooo good (better than most restaurants in the area), try the Arepas they’re a must. Great customer service and very knowledgeable.

Such a great concept! Not only does Cafe Negro serve up some A+ coffee but the shop decor makes for a fun and unique visit. The deserts are delicious too, we had the carrot cake. Henry the owner is friendly and passionate about his coffee. Would highly recommend a visit!

This was a random gem of a find after looking for the nearest coffee shop to grab a fast bite and some caffeine to fuel out journey back to San Jose. Literally felt like we stepped into another world upon entering. We couldn't stop gushing over the decor and the gracious cashier was very patient with us while we wandered around taking in the sights while trying to decide what to purchase. The cafe itself looks so inconspicuous from the outside, just on a corner like any other, not surrounding by buildings that one would particularly take note of. But it is SO CUTE and cosy inside!!! Completely taken by surprise! The menu is varied but full of the standard savoury eats one can expect of a cafe, plus a variety of cakes, sweet pies and other pastries. And a great list of coffee options to choose from! With many different syrups and other bits to customise your selection. Coffee was just perfect on top of the lovely atmosphere inside the cafe. Definitely would recommend you add this as a spot to visit if in Liberia.

Wonderful coffee shop in the heart of Liberia. The decor solicits modern art, and the beans are locally sourced and roasted with amor by the owner. 10/10 would recommend.

This cafe is a treat. Great coffee, did, and gelato. Will have to go back to sample the pie; it looked amazing.

Good spot. The drinks were refreshing and pretty different than the normal (tho they also have the usual), it's a good selection. Henry the owner was friendly and explained how Cold Brew is made when explaining his namesake drink. Cool to learn something new. AAlso had the burger and Salad.. Burger was made well and i had one with plantains which was awesome. Would def come back if I'm in Liberia

I just found out about this place today, and was very excited. It’s a great place without a lot of personality. I haven’t had food yet, but the smoothie was wonderful and the service is great. The atmosphere is unforgettable.

This a small Coffee shop in Liberia Guanacaste and staff super friendly and coffee and cakes were good! We love the ambiance and looks of the location!
