We loved our experience here! There are a lot of options for different types of cakes. They are quite light, even though the portions can be bigger. It is also possible to find the traditional rice cake or different adaptations of it. The coffee was nice as well. The decor is quite authentique. The service was nice as well.

Having elegant and absolutely amazing tasting cakes from this place on almost every special occasions as the designs, craftsmanship and flavour is almost unbeatable compared to any other pastry and bakery places in Aachen. Definitely worth the price and a must try place for pastry lovers.

Sehr lecker sehr gut , this is short way to express my feelings about this cafe . To those want to go there please go and don't wait . I cannot make it for almost three years. They have fresh sweet 😍 which is yummy. You don't feel that much sweetness. You can realise the amount sweetness is enough . Ladies who work there are so kind. They speak English and German and might something Else.
Inside of cafe is so beautiful and old . I love their decoration.
You can have salthy breakfast over there as well . We try cake because we want however you can try salty stuff as well.

Excellent choice of cake and drinks. Very friendly staff, and reasonably priced. It currently holds the best café and Rösterei award for 2022. Definitely recommended.

A pastry shop offering scrumptious little cakes, tartes and eclairs. We had a wonderful time at this little cafe in Aachen. The waitresses stood out in their incredible attentiveness, friendliness and generosity (we got a free slice of one kind of cake because the waitress deemed the cake a bit of a failure (which was far from it; it was just as wonderful as all the other treats we had)). On top of the wonderful service and the great food for anyone with a sweet tooth, this place also had surprisingly affordable prices. That is not to say the cake was cheap or tasted cheap. Not at all. But based on the quality of the products and the service provided, we were expecting a price tag double the one we were handed here. A very welcome surprise. A strong recommendation!

A terrific cafe in this neighbourhood. Today it's windy outside, but once you stepped in this cafe, you feel really warm and cozy. The seating is comfortable. Service is decent. All in all, everything is impeccable. The fruit tarts are particularly recommendable.

Hands-down the best cake in the northern hemisphere. Pick out your cake, get a cup of coffee and they will bring you the cake to the table. Classic!

The place is one if not the oldest still operation cafe in Aachen. The buidling is hundreds of years old...its a great spot in the centre...think our waitress did not have her day... it all took very very long. But dont let that be a reason not to check it out
