Café Kittel - Aachen

Just coincidentally found this place. Stopped in for lunch, We asked for two veggie options, the shakshouka and Lauch-Hackfleisch-Suppe. And both were excellent, with nice complex flavors. Surprisingly, it’s the best shakshouka I’ve had in a restaurant thus far. The pictures don’t look too great but u gotta trust me on it XD

The vibe of the place is nice and seems to be student oriented. The prices were also very reasonable.

the coffees are affordable and relatively cheap than other cute cafes. Wifi is provided and you can work there with your laptop. The staffs are attentive and the interior is pretty cute as well. Would easily spend 4 hours there !!

Easily my favourite café in aachen. Affordable prices, variety on the menu, student friendly, the music is good, the atmosphere is relacing and aesthetic, and the staff are very friendly

Came for drinks and hot chocolate. Relaxed and uplifting atmosphere, mainly full of students on a Sunday. Nice staff too. Takes card and cash

I liked how it has bigger area than some of the cafés I have seen around Aachen. Has good working spaces too.

The waitresses are nice and they remember us after we came back the 2nd day.

I ordered a coffee and was bitter and short as life is. Killer nutria loved it.

There is only one great bar in Aachen: cafe Kittel!

The food in this cafe is better than anything in the Netherlands and the atmosphere, music and the people working there is probably the greatest thing in the cafe.

The place is nice and cozy, the service is great. Recommend

A very German experience. It's right next to a book store, and it feels like it belongs to it. Inside it looks like a cafe, but it has the atmosphere of both a bar and a cafe at the same time. You can also watch a famous German crime series on Sunday evenings.

My favorite cafe in Aachen. I have been coming here since my study days. Great place to meet friends and also to have good reading time. Would visit soon !

Really nice atmosphere. Hard to find a place in Aachen that has the chill atmosphere for a good morning of work on your laptop while having a warm beverage. Also, a plus the fact that you can communicate in english if you german is lacking. Overall, nice place and atmosphere

Nice bar with lots of seating possibility. If the weather is nice, go sit in the garden to have more fresh air. If not, the inside tables are also cozy.

It's always in my top five for Cafes in Aachen. We usually go there when Egmont is full... :D
