Wadden Sea National Park

If you want peace and want to know the power of pure oxygen then this the place.

Very calm and less visited......this is place to getaway from the crowded streets.

I got so much energy being there that even after being back from there I was active for around a week.

There are nice villages nearby , very well maintained. I stayed in bredburo.

Wish I could settle there, I would few more years to my lifeline.

Beautiful islands, easy to get out to by ferry, but tricky to get arpund without a car or bike. Plenty of unique shops. Nice spots to camp as well. Beach is super long & the water is warmer than expected.

An amazing place to explore. I can truly recommend it. Come to Denmark and experience especially the little village of Sønderho on the island of Fanø

Really amazing tidal flats. The tide difference is quite large. I was able to walk over to a large group of seals that was just over a channel for a good view without disturbing. Binoculars recommend for that. Many shells around to check out while walking.

Very nice place for taking walks and picnic.

Very natural place and the beach is still growing slowly .

This beach is well worth a visit, the car can be driven right out across the beach

Don't miss the guided tours.

If you are looking for a place to kite landboard or kite buggy, this is it! Plan accordingly with the tide so you don't get caught out. Also be aware of the soft sand if you only have a two wheel drive auto.

Beautiful views. The drive through the middle of the sea was adventurous. Driving to the island is only possible during low tide. A very different and memorable experience

Having been raised in this area, I didn't think that it was in any way special. Having lived away for a long time made me realize how very unique and beautiful the area is and have moved home again.
The Wadden Sea National Park has gained UNESCO's World Heritage Site title in 2014. A range of safari tours and activities are offered here.

We have seen seals. Super nice.

Really great place to visit! We were there on Summer, in Fano Denmark. The views in the Sunset are unbelivable, and we made a Tour to see the Seals, I can really recommend that!

The nature in The Wadden Sea National Park is quite unique. It's mainly areas with low standing water and land that's often flooded. Add to this, lakes and forrests and you have a perfect habitat for several different species of birds, deer and much more. The wadden sea stretches from western Denmark all the way to Holland. If you love the outdoors then this is a place to experience whenever you have the chance.

Been here so many times, but I never get tired of this place. The beauty of our West coast is just something else. I always recomend this place to people visiting Denmark, and I always bring my foreign friends here.

Truly unique place, with vast birdlife in the migration seasons, which usually also brings a number of (rare) vagrant birds. Don't forget your binoculars and telescope -- viewing distances can be quite long in some places.
