Old cathedral with a lot of history inside. It has more flashy things inside than a normal traditional Danish Church, but it's a real beauty to walk inside. It's free to enter, but you have the option to go to the bell tower for a small fee.

Ribe is the oldest city in Denmark. Highly recommend to visit it if you are interested in old architecture, cute and fairy nordic atmosphere.

Great museum where you can see the clock mechanism as well as things about the buildings history. The tower is interesting to climb from the inside and has a great view.

Nice view by paying 25DKK /person and going up to the top of the tower. But you need to do some exercise by your legs.

This was very interesting to see, and the view from the top, although you might be winded when you get to it, is absolutely beautiful! If you're passing by it would definitely be worth a visit.

Beautiful old Danish Church, a must see visiting Ribe.

Ribe Cathedral is a beautiful church. Entrance to the church itself is free (like any other church in Denmark). You can also visit the tower (Borgertårnet) for a small fee, I believe it is 25 kroner per person.
The view from the tower is fantastic, even on a hazy day we could see Esbjerg in the horizon. There are many steps to climb, though, and as the tower is old, the steps are narrow. The first flights of stairs are of brick, further towards the top the steps are made of wood.
On the first landing, you will find a small museum with interesting facts and artifacts of both the cathedral and Christianity in Denmark. I also learned what "Kyrie, eleison" means. I have listened to the Mr. Mister song countless times since the 1980s, but it wasn't until my visit to the museum I learned what it means.
In conclusion, well worth the entrance fee, remember to bring your camera.

Interesting church, with lots of culture. They have a small museum on the way up to the clock tower, where the views are astonishing.
