Kammerslusen Ribe

The hotel is located about 5 kilometers from Scandinavia's oldest city Ribe. The surroundings of the hotel are really nice, ideal for long walks and bike rides. We had a very spacious room with a balcony overlooking the water. Room was clean and quite new.
Really friendly staff, they made us some extra coffee to take on the long ride home. We had dinner at the restaurant once and it was lovely.

The breakfast was fine, although there were a lot of flies around the cheese and meat. It would have been better if there was something protecting the food.

Don't let the 90ies decor scare you away, the food is excellent and the service is friendly, efficient and forthcoming. This was without a doubt the best meal we had all week, the meat was amazing and cooked perfectly medium and the homemade strawberry ice cream was delicious. Clearly they care about quality of their ingredients and put effort and care in to the preparation.
The prices are very reasonable especially compared to what you pay for food of much lower quality inside the town.

Fantastic place to both view and walk into the Wadden Sea UNESCO world heritage park. The lock at Kammerslusen along with it’s dike, helps hold back flooding during the winter season. Plenty of parking, information signs, toilets and picnic tables. Viewing point has wheelchair access.

If you are looking for high-quality food, this is the place! Very nice staff, and they are good on gluten-free food, too.

If you are lucky you will see it being operated. But nice to see the magnitude of the waterway.

Delicious and not expensive food

Vi har lige været på en fantastisk overnatning med super lækker mad som var anrettet helt i top til aften og stort morgenbord med alt hvad hjertet begærer. Betjeningen kan ikke fås bedre så vi kan varmt anbefale stedet.

Skønt sted i dejlige rolige omgivelser. Rigtig god service af venlige imødekommende personale. Rent og pænt og fin morgenmad. Vi kommer igen

Det er interessant at se når slusen åbnes og lukkes, smukt område, dejligt sted, her kan man koble af og nyde naturen, godt område mht at se sort sol,

Rigtig dejlig overnatning i minisuiten. Super sødt og smilende personale. Meget lækker aftensmad og morgenbuffet. Meget smuk natur. Kan varmt anbefales

Det var besøget vær, vidunderlig natur, skønne omgivelser.
Hotellet får 6****** minisuiten er rigtig god hverken mere eller mindre
Morgenmaden er fin, ikke formeget (madspild) og ikke for lidt
Aften menuer var rigtig lækre og man blev rigeligt mæt.
Kommer igen!!!

Sehr ruhiger Platz 6km von Ribe entfernt. Sanitäranlagen neuwertig und sauber. Eine ist prima mit dem Rad erreichbar.
Ein feines Restaurant direkt an Platz, in dem man sich auch anmeldet. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, hilfsbereit.
Haben da super lecker gegessen. Auch die Biere aus der Region sind absolut empfehlenswert!
