A really great place to see the dwellings and various items from the Viking Age. We really liked it here. 🤩
A normal tour takes about 1-1,5 hours.
There is a large car park right at the entrance.

A wonderful and educational immersive experience. Information was available in English, German, and Danish, and the people working were friendly and eager to answer all sorts of questions. Dog friendly with various spots to eat inside and outside if you're looking for a snack or something a bit more hearty. Fun for kids and adults alike. Well worth the entrance fee and time spent walking about and exploring.

Very nice staff, I had a great time, I made candle of beeswax, a viking pouch and baked some flatbread on a fire. I think the kids liked it too 😄

Fantastic and atmospheric recreation of a Norsemen village. You really get a feeling of how these people used to live hundreds of years ago.
The "vikings" there are very humble and welcoming. They were happy to answer my questions about Norsemen history or mythology.
My children enjoyed it as well, wether it was shooting with a bow or cooking over the fire.
Overall a fantastic experience for those who are really interested in Norsemen culture and history.
I just wished for a little bit of variety in the cafe, a warm soup from the kettle over the fire would have been amazing!

This place is nothing like where I’ve ever been before. This Viking settlement is a MUST-VISIT when traveling to Denmark, it was probably one of the highlights of my trip! I learned about the people who “live” there, and it’s an organization, and members come every weekend (when they can) and live like the Vikings did (garments, lifestyle, food, and all!) It definitely feels like you’ve been jolted back in time here. Also, this place is great for children AND adults (I think my dad and I spent about an hour and a half here!) Make sure to talk to the people living there, they are super friendly, and answered a lot of the questions we asked, and just made friendly conversation :)

It must be seen, but it must be known that summer is much more beautiful, when there are activities that present more naturally the historical period of the Vikings😃

Nice little Viking museum, we spent about 2 hours there, there were a few activities like shooting with bow and arrow.

Lots of different informative stations, including among others a replica of a "dragon boat" (which you can enter!), a Viking ritual site and a water mill. Also lots of acitivites for children. Definitely worth a visit!

Back to the viking age, lots to see and experience. Making leather straps, a little purse and baking bread. Kids loved it, also the weapon demonstration was very funny!

It's a nice place to visit. The markets are nice as well. You are allowed to bring your dog in too. Which is a big plus!

Feel like a Viking for a day. You can buy extra Tickets to shoot bow and arrow, bake flat bread, make candles and sow a leather bag.

Beautiful. The best and most friendly experience was the encounter with the volunteers who live there. Seek them out in the middle house

Interesting and fun to see - it's small but many activities to do. But you have to pay extra for most of it
