Restaurant Margeritten

It was an exceptional evening that will surely remain etched in our memories forever. To celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, we decided to dine at the beautiful "Margeritten" restaurant in Allinge, Bornholm, and we could not have been happier with our choice.

Right from the beginning, we had some concerns as it was the end of the season, the last week of September, and we worried that the restaurant might be empty and dull. However, following the instructions on the website, we made a reservation, and upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was full of life, and the atmosphere was exceptional. All the guests seemed delighted, and the conversations and laughter filled the air.

The service was incredibly efficient and helpful. Our waitress turned out to be exceptionally competent and spoke fluent English, which was a great help to us as we do not speak Danish. She was also very polite and ensured that we felt truly special.

The food was simply heavenly. Every dish we ordered was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The kitchen at "Margeritten" restaurant truly deserves the highest praise. The flavors were diverse and surprising, and every bite was a delight to the palate.

The ambiance in the establishment was very warm and natural, making us feel comfortable and at ease. There was no stiffness or formality, which only added to our experience.

After the main courses, our waitress suggested delicious desserts that were the perfect conclusion to our extraordinary evening.

Great food with taste (we are vegetarian), amazing service and superb attitude. A must to visit place in Bornholm . The waiters are very friendly and always wears a smile on their face!

A pleasant stay for the family good food, good prices, good service. Well worth a visit as the meny has something for everyone.

The one thing I can put a point on is to bring the spare ribs with more bbq sauce, it is a necessity to keep rib lovers reordering ribs.

Really good food and the salat buffet that are included in most of their main courses are a really plus in my eyes.
There were also loads of vegetarian dishes, which my mum could choose from

4.5 stars. It's a great place with good service, but be sure to tell them how you want the meat cocked cause they didn't ask me. I got a 'plankebøf' and it was cooked medium, would prefer it cooked rare. But other then that the food was excellent.

A great restaurant with a good variety of meals and a great salad bar. The food is lovely, very tasty and perfectly done. They're open from 5pm in the winter and 12pm in the summer only closing the kitchen when people stop arriving. We've arrived late a few times amd still got excellent service. The staff is super friendly. Can definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dinner night.

Great service and delicious meals. We had a steak that was baked with mashed potatoes which was something new to us. What a perfect combination!
