Fårup Sommerland

Large amusement park in Farup. Suitable for all ages, because of the excellent mix of small kids play areas and teenage thrills. There are plenty of quiet areas with picknick tables for self catering, but if you prefer to buy something to eat or drink, it's all available. Prices on the higher end, but that's normal in such parks. Combination of outdoor swimming pool with huge slides and at least a full day of nice and exciting attractions for children any age. Danish families with a wide variety of backgrounds are around and their kids on average well educated. Personnel is friendly and service oriented. Food for sale is mostly fastfood, like usually. Interesting were the grill your own stuff areas, so you could bring all for a good BBQ and stay until 2000 with it. We had a nice day with the family and our girls age 14 and 16 will go together for another day, as they would like to be there longer. And, typical Danish, there is a whole island to play mini golf!

Amazing amusement park for all tastes! Very good variety of entertainment, food and even a picnic area and grill to enjoy with the family. Recommended to spend a great day if the weather allows it! Fantastic in August, after the second week when they start school in Denmark. The aqualand place although in summer they close too early when the sun is still full to continue a while longer.

Very wide variety of attractions.
The staff are chill but get the job done without fuss, eg fast moving lines for rides, quick food service etc. Despite the park clearly being busy it wasn't a cluster.
The new Fønix coaster is superb, smooth and forceful.

Maximum fun. You need at least 2 days if you want not to run from one place to another. Many restaurants, barbecue places, sweets, souvenirs have everything you want. We were very happy. 👍😃

Fårup Sommerland is one of my favorite amusement parks, this is a place for the entire family both young and old! In addition to all the roller coasters, boat activities and playgrounds, it has a giant water park with a lot of slides of all kinds. You can bring your own food e.g. for the free barbeques or buy food from one of the many shops.

Best amusement park i have ever been to in Europe. The rides are ALL amazing and the people working are all very friendly. The food inside are priced reasonably and there are free grills available.

Great place to picnic, bring your own foods and Coffee and enjoy the forest and playground for kids.

On holiday to Denmark - First time to Sommerland, me and my son (14)…

…great rides, great fun, great staff and the place was really clean. Staff were helpful and really friendly at all points! Wished I’d have done a picnic with a cooler box etc to take advantage of the grilling area (a fair few bbq’s already lit for you)!!! Still the food we had was good and not as highly priced as expected!

Did the water park and went back on the rides! Water park was so much fun although I’m aching today, in a good way, again my son and I had so many laughs and memories here today!

Fabulous day out, it wasn’t crowded so I guess we picked a good time! 100% will return 🇩🇰❤

my favorite fun park to visit in Denmark. Even when crowded in July its spacious! We have been here when the kids where small and last year when they are all in their teens! I recommend to bring food to prepare on the many weber gas grills in the area.

Fårup Summer Land was an absolute blast! My 8-year-old had the time of her life. From thrilling rides to exciting water slides, there was never a dull moment. The park's atmosphere was lively and welcoming. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The park's attention to safety was commendable, ensuring a worry-free experience for families. A must-visit for anyone seeking unforgettable fun and adventure.

For the last 3 years we have had a season pass, and we enjoy coming. The staff is always friendly and will even wave goodbye near the exit when the place closes. The toilets get cleaned very often and the food is great. Attraction wise, there is something for everyone

Such a beautiful and relaxing place for all family, children and adults. I really recommended , you need a all day to have really fun 🙂

Very good attractions and half a day are hardly enough. Very well managed and lots to do for kids and adults. Very reasonably priced for full day attractions.

Awesome theme park, very nice rides

Great themepark. Especially loved how much nature is in here. Lots of trees and flowers.
The park was filled with playgrounds for the children and even a really cool swimming pool with a double loop slide.
The employees were incredibly nice.

Fårup Sommerland is not Disney World or EuropaPark, but it is consistently one of the best amusement parks we’ve been to over the years. Especially for younger kids it’s amazing as there are plenty of playgrounds, smaller rides and grills for everyone to use and picknick areas for when you get hungry (yes, it’s perfectly fine to bring your own food). For bigger kids (and adults) there’s also some great rides - and don’t forget the water park! If you visit out of high season (so early spring or fall) there will be less people and you might get double turns on the rides and no lineups 😄

Fun for all ages!!! Big park and lots to see and do. Loved the area for people to barbecue. Everything is well organized and easy to find with signs all over the place.
