Juelsminde Harbour and Marina

This is a picturesque harbor with lots of great places to eat...my favorite being Njord which just opened 3 weeks ago. Go for happy hour from 4-5 (drinks 2 for 1) and then enjoy the fish platter called sterneskud.

A Wonderful large Marina with great views!
Marinas can be found throughout Denmark (and elsewhere)... but the amenities and the "environs" of this centrally located harbour in Juelsminde is really special! The views of the surrounding "Bay/Fjord" are very attractive.. as are the extensive white sand beaches! What I liked most were the picnic tables "scattered about" and several with sturdy wooden structures to block the cold winds. These structures are also painted black... to attract heat, thereby making it all the more comfortable for visitors as well as residents! Surrounding the Marina, there are also several restaurants and bars. The "shopping street"... and, its many diverse shoppes... also adjoins the Marina. Its a great place to enjoy nature as well as the yachts and motor boats.

This place has so much atmosphere. One of my favourite places in Denmark during the summer. If you enjoy sailing this is the place to visit for a couple of days.

Very nice marina and lovely neighborhood

Nice yacht harbour with fine infrastructure. Fantastic ice creams! Very good fish restaurants. Place to meet many of mc riders on beautiful machines... From the air it is very nice too. In vincinity is Lille Belt Bro, going over Little Belt and entry to Vejle Fjord. Flight ove fiord take you further to Vejle with motorway bridge, really high and nice building...

Depending on what time of the year you go, it'd either be very busy or calm. They're are several events that get hosted there.

Very nice and clean port and sanitary facilities. Must book box during high season in advance.
