Isla del Marisco

We discovered this little family owned restaurant in Feb 2021 and it was outstanding, so we had to visit again on this trip. We drove from Punta Cana to Miches about 1 hour just to enjoy the superb food. Today we had fried whole red snapper (Chillo) and grouper fillet with the BEST garlic sauce, salad and tostones (fried plantain) and everything was PERFECT. Probably the best tostones I have ever had and I'm Cuban! Not only do they prepare great food, the place is impeccable, nice ambience with background music, perfect air conditioned temperature and lovely staff to attend to you. Daniel and Miguelina were friendly, attentive, and professional. Lucy the owner is a sweet lady and simply a doll. So happy to have found such good quality food and they don't just have seafood, their menu is extensive! The food was abundant and their prices reasonable. We both had fish, two cocktails and corona beer, 10% legal tip included plus the country's outrageous obligatory tax of 18% came to $31. Visit this excellent restaurant if you are in the area and you won't be disappointed!

This is an excellent traditional local restaurant! This is my second trip to the town of Miches and had to stop here. They have a variety of fresh seafood and homemade traditional Dominican food; but they can accommodate all your dietary needs if you ask. During my trip, I ate here multiple times, and they exceeded my expectations by cooking dishes not included in the menu! All the employees are super nice and accommodating. You will find here both locals and tourists since the quality and price are both great! The restaurant has a great atmospheric environment and it’s very clean!

We had the lobster soup, Red Fish, and marisco soup. It was very very good food, and a great experience. We were very happy with the service and cleanliness of the restaurant, it was wonderful.

They don't have any breakfast options on the menu but still prepared something for us. It was great

Mejor lugar para Almorzar en Miches ninguno mejor, exelente ambientacion acojedor comodo al final algo indescriptible, sabor presentacion y calidad..

Excelente experiencia, lugar fresco en Miches. Hay que destacar que por el nombre no solo venden mariscos, en su plato del día y la carta tienen buenas opciones.

Anoche estuve en este lugar. Nos llamó inmediatamente la atención la limpieza pulcritud y la decoración sencilla y agradable a la vez. La atención del personal 10 puntos, hasta nos aconsejaron que lugares no nos podíamos perder de los alrededores. La comida muy rica y bien presentada. Y suficiente...los precios muy asequibles... volvería con gusto!!! Un saludo especial a los muchachos que nos atendieron tan amablemente Ninibest, Yomaira, Miguel y Luis Miguel

Pues después de pasar un mal día en otro lugar llegué aquí full atención la comida super buena plato del 200 pesos unos 4us 2 platos del día + presidente + jugos menos de 800 pesos lo recomiendo al 90%

Очень хорошее место. Перекусить, выпить что что-нибудь, посмотреть любимую передачу на большом экране, можно выбирать в интернете. Имеются отдельные залы помимо общего, удобные стулья для детей. Хорошая кухня, персонал всё выполняет на раз-два. Рекомендую. В Доминикане таких мест вообще очень мало, особенно в районе Мичес.

Los precios son cómodos, la comida es muy buena y tiene aire acondicionado. El servicio es rápido y bueno y los baños están limpios. ¡Dan entrada y postre gratis!
