Pretty impressive. The infrastructure was pretty cool, paths throughout, well lit, and easy to navigate. The tour was conducted in English. It is very approachable excursion, but there are a few flights of stairs and you are still going inside a dark, wet cave. I mention this because many elderly people were confident to take it on, but were struggling along the way. Be prepared and use the handrails.

Awesome cave. I was surprised about the size and it so well kept. Stalactitas and stalagmites. Lot of Taino culture. Jeroglífico are so simple compared to other ones in Latin America. Facilities are so clean and it has a very nice gift shop. I loved watching the huge iguanas outside.

This cave is incredible! It's huge down there. They did an excellent job illuminating the place without taking away the darkness of the usual cave or without making look super bright. They built a walkway that's easy to see, access, and go through the entire place. There aren't many steps, aside from the ones at the start of the attraction. They also have some ancient paintings on some of the walls. I really recommend this, especially if you have kids. It's like Batman's cave, lol.

We walked in there quite clueless and were looking for the entrance. It wasn't easy to find but that's maybe because our Spanish is really not that great. Anyways we found our way in after some time and soon found a guided group to join. The guide gave us great extra insight into what we saw in the cave. Just a must see in the Dominican Republic I think. Afterwards we saw lots of Iguanas which they seem to breed there as well. Impressive animals! Overall definitely worth going and spending time!

Great, cave is beautiful and the tour was great. The only thing I was not prepared for were the severe number of mosquitoes in this place. I was bitten hundreads of times and in so much pain that it ruined the whole tour for me. I would recommend to wear a repellant beforehand as that was the thing to ruin the experience. Otherwise it was great.

If you have not been, this is a fantastic place to visit. I am an older guy. I had little trouble navigating their stairs and walkways. As you are approaching the cave, you see ancient coral everywhere. From when the island came up out of the ocean. The cave drawings have been preserved well. The temperature in the cave stays in the 70's but, with all the water around in the cave, it is pretty humid. Upon exiting the cave, there are areas set up to house iguanas. A LOT of them. If you wish to see the Dominican Republic from before the island was even known as Hispanola, then this place is on your list to see.

Otherworldly beauty, absolutely blew me away. None of these photos are edited at all, it really looks that insane. The infrastructure is beautiful, they've built a full floor into the small cave and a really nice set of paths through the main one, with tasteful lights and such. Tour guide was very friendly and explained some cool history. A must stop if you want to see the extremes of terrains in the Dominican Republic!

Three cautions: the stairs and paths can be a bit icy/slippery, there's plenty of opportunities to bump your head, and it's a bit of a hike out.

We did this as part of a tour from the cruise ship. The cave was amazing and well worth the stop.

Excellent Place for a Stop. The horses in the pasture was relaxing view. Beautiful site with shaded parking lot. free mini museum, and very inexpensive entrance fee to the caves. I was able to walk right and purchase tickets at gift shop. Tour not required, then found the tour guide spoke english and was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Great place for kids! Lots of great views inside the cave, plus the iguanas were fun to watch. We also did the labyrinth (maze) which was fun too.

I absolutely loved it! It’s a very beautiful place. Our tour guide was amazing explaining everything and the kids understood everything. There are life iguanas, spiders and other animals. It has very clean restrooms, a tiny museum and a small cafeteria for snacks. It is a must.
