Oooh, this place is something special that you have to experience in this part of beautiful Dominicana! Food is incredible! You’re eating at the beach with the smell and view of the ocean! Priceless! Wide selection of spirits, wine, and always fresh fish! Very welcoming host and service. The top 3 in Cabarete for sure!

Beautiful view, very peaceful and quiet. Tasty food and drinks too. Friendly customer service. I almost put 4 stars because of the price. It is the most expensive restaurant we had in the entire week. It was $100 ($5800) for the 2 of us, with what we had on the photos. It is regular price for Washington DC but Cabarete, we were surprised... So very nice to try once, pero está caro 🫰

Favorite restaurant on the beach in Cabarete. Creative menu, comfortable tables and chairs. Tuna tartare tacos were amazing; as well as the calamari which was in a tempura batter with fried carrot and zucchini and an awesome vegetable aioli. Truffle Mac n cheese was amazing as well as rigatoni with burrata.

The best restaurant on the coast in Cabarete. We go there very often with the whole family. Even the child likes everything, although he is very picky. wonderful atmosphere, service, cleanliness, and most importantly excellent cuisine. It's amazing that there are still such places on the beach. thanks to the staff and chef! be sure to visit this wonderful place

Awesome atmosphere with the people, lighting, and music! Employees are super friendly and reliable, speaking both English and Spanish. Amazing options for cocktails and very tasty too! Gives off classic American beach bar vibes with the tourists there too, definitely an enjoyable experience :D

I got the Mangorita and Pineapple Me cocktails and they were delicious! I also ordered the Green Garden pizza and Penne Salmon, which were so well cooked. A little expensive but worth every peso!!

We were able to eat Oceanside at a table in the sand. The sunset as a backdrop for a delicious meal. The service was delightful. (A little slow at the end when things got busier). We enjoyed amazing cocktails and mocktails (try the Citrus infusion with basil). Everyone loved their dishes. The Beef carpaccio, tuna, pizza fruti de mare, ceviche and more. The brownie and chocolate mousse were also yummy.

I had dinner in Drifter several times and have to say it’s by far the best spot in Cabarete. Modern, very cosy and stylish.
Great selection of cocktails and alcohol free options, good service and the food was beyond expectations. Will definitely be back when visiting the island again!

It's amazing go out for dinner and got surprised with a place like Drifter. I NEVER expected to eat the best octopus in my life in a beach restaurant. In which I would expected to find some fast and simple food. Instead I was surprised with delicious dishes, outstanding mixology and the best part, all this experience is right on the beach. Yes your are eating in paradise with your feet's on the sand. The restaurant personal is charming and servicial. If you are in Cabarete is a must to stop at Drifter. hope you all have a awesome experience as me.

The time spent at DRIFTER's in Cabarete was great!

We decided to host the company holiday get together here and we cannot express in words how happy we were with the organization, service, hospitality and food we received during the event.

The drinks were on point. The entrees were on point. The main dishes were on point. The dessert was on point. Everything from start to finish was on point.

During these pandemic times - DRIFTER took the proper precautions to ensure our health and safety during the entirety of our culinary experience.

If you are in Cabarete you must try DRIFTER at least once-
