Abundance of food from the appetizer to main dish. Melissa the waitress was very attentive , therefore if you’re in the neighborhood and looking forward to a savory typical dish ! This is it….

While driving around Montecristi trying to find a place to eat, my family and I stumbled upon Lilo. Lilo is situated on the corner with outdoor seatings. We parked in a lot next to the supermarket associated with the restaurant and that was a plus. The waitress Melissa was so patient and attentive with my crazy family. She was super nice. The food was amazing. Our appetizers were mofongo with seafood and also oxtail. It was more like a tostones cup instead of a mofongo but it was juicy and tasteful. The appetizers kept us full. I ordered a mofongo with shrimps for entree. It had a lot of flavor. For dessert we ordered cream of pineapple and another fruit, that was amazing!! I wish I was able to bring some desserts home to the states. The bill for four people were under $100 and that was including drinks/coffee etc. Great price for everything we ordered and was able to take food home.

Had the han and cheese omelette, it was very tasty and well prepared. Coffee was delightful and we had a blend of all of their natural juices called a tropical, it was lovely. Waitress was very attentive and professional. Overall a great breakfast experience. The resturant is owned by the lilo supermarket which is directly in front of it, a nice place to watch a busy part of town from the comfort of a nice cafe.

Lilo has a special place in my heart since this is where I met my husband. The food here is great but my fave is the zapote or lechosa batido. Upon a visit I catered a cena and the staff was accommodating, attentive, helpful, and patient in helping me plan the menu. I can’t wait to visit next time!
