El Barranco

My husband and I have been here twice during my visit to Ecuador. The atmosphere is friendly, great music, love the food and desserts. We ate in dining room of the main entrance the first time there (07/10/2021). Music was in both English & Spanish. They have games at the tables and a bar. The second visit in 7/09/2022 we sat in the other indoor part of restaurant. You have to go out the side door of main entrance into the outdoor eating area. It is usually very windy as we are way above the sea on a cliff like area. Small parking lot but there is always a guy watching your cars. We pay him a dollar or two after. The views are fabulous. Absolutely amazing experience. I would come back to this restaurant! Service is amazing, food is delicious and fresh… but the view… the view is ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!! 100% recommended ❤❤❤❤❤

I was visiting Ecuador from Pennsylvania, United States. We happened to to take the coastal route from Salinas to Guayaquil and stumbled upon your place. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed the day we came upon it, but the parking lot gave us a good spot to pull over and capture some photos with my drone. I just wanted to be able to share some of these with you. Thanks for the parking spot, we wish we could have tried your food too!

Delicious food and beautiful scenery! Watching the different phases of the sunset was amazing. It was nice listening to classic rock playing in the background. Don't miss out on this hidden gem when visiting Salinas, Ecuador 🇪🇨..It's about 10 miles south along the coat.

Friends dining at El Barranco. Made a reservation a day before, handed in the names of the attendees and arrived to a beautifully decorated table with spectacular views of a Pacific Ocean

Kicked off with some wine The waitresses and waiters are very friendly and helpful all night. Some of us finished off with dessert, whereas some skipped that part as the starter and main with a couple of refreshments and patacones , serves a normal person very well on the portion side.

Great view, great service and impeccable place to bring a date, family or just have a small party. I had an empanada and broccoli soup. They are more known for their seafood but I would get the broccoli soup for sure.
