Tsafiki Cabins

What can I say? This is a magical place. Lori and her staff epitomize hospitality. From the moment we booked, Lori got in touch with us to help arrange transportation, meals when we arrived quite late, and personally made sure we were comfortable from then on. The food is, by the way, phenomenal! Although Lori recommended a few places for us to try, it was hard not to eat every meal at Tsafiki. The beach is quite private, shared with just a handful of communities, and wide - very walkable. There is so much nature to observe just sitting in the many shaded areas on the property. The pool was crystal clear, among the cleanest and most inviting I've ever seen. The hot tub was actually hot, which has not been our experience in Ecuador, lol! Lori even set up a movie night in the larger thatch-roofed pavilion. Although we visited in the rainy season, there was not much rain, but there are so many covered areas, I imagine it would be just as fun there in a downpour! Lori helped us arrange tours, introduced us to her friends and neighbors, told us stories about the area and gave us insight into the local culture. Did I mention the food!? We will return to Tsafiki for sure! I highly recommend this tranquillo destination.

Lovely, quiet getaway with pool and direct beach access. The food is awesome, huge portions with 1/2 orders available for those with smaller appetites. The owner and staff are very nice, welcoming and happy to help. Pet friendly as well. The beach is clean and perfect for walking with your dogs.

We had a great time here. The pool and jacuzzi are top notch. It is right on the beach with shore line cabana and lounging area. The patio and indoor lounge are spacious and comfortable. We tried many things from the menu and all were delicious. The room was nicely furnished with the shower having real hot water and good pressure. The hostess was happy to have us there and showed it. A great place to escape and relax.

I had a beautiful time here with some friends. Beautiful view of the ocean wonderful swimming pool and spa. Nice cabins...There is a bridge that leads you to the wonderful beach. Yoy can do a long walk swim or surf. Love it.

My stay at Tsafiki was amazing. It is a comfortable tranquil setting on a mostly secluded beach with incredible waves and colored stones.Great hospitality and fantastic food! YOU must try the Corvina. A huge thank you to Lori and all of her staff! I will definitely return.

Lori and her staff are incredible. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel so welcomed and taken care of! The food is delicious and you cant beat that view from the pool!

The staff could not have been more friendly! Lori, the owner, is quietly attentive and full of information on the area. The food and drinks are incredible...great kitchen and bar staff. The place is rustic, warm, and welcoming. Perfect for a quiet getaway weekend.

Absolutely gorgeous. So peaceful. Love this place and especially the owner! The lady is awesome, she will do as much as possible to satisfy all your needs. Whole place is clean, rooms are spacious with own bathrooms. I got only one imperfection - my friend and I got no grounded electrical sockets in our room, so my European travel adapter doesn't work. But other rooms are fine and got both grounded and regular sockets.
I will definitely return!

One of the best place I’ve visited.
25$/ person for returning guests. Beatiful cottages with various occupancy, from double beds to bunks for a family, each with own bathroom, terasse, hot water. Wifi and shaded house with hamacs and firepit on the beach, swimming pool ans kid pool, jacuzzy, full kitchen and huge bfasts for 5$. From eggs, huevos rancheros, french toast to local plantain balls. Great owner, very accomodating.

Deliciosa comida, jamás falla!! Siempre somos bien recibidos, ideal para una caminata al pie del mar y disfrutar de un juego de mesa, leer o simplemente disfrutar de la piscina. Las mascotas son bienvenidas y los perritos de la casa saben como hacerte sentir bien. Un buen lugar para descansar y comer rico.

Asistí a la boda de mi mejor amiga :) el lugar hermoso! me encantó, no conocía esta parte de mi amado Ecuador y quedé maravillada. El hostal es lindo ideal para esas escapadas de la vida de la ciudad, es rústico pero tienes todas las comodidades para relajarte, la playa al pie, la dueña del hostal muy amable y simpática, la comida muy rica. Volveré sin duda porque quiero quedarme mas tiempo💛

Muy lindo lugar, para pasar en familia, los niños se divierten, la piscina, el jacuzzi con agua temperada, salida directa a la playa, habitaciones confortables, juegos de mesa, restaurante, la comida es muy buena y la atención de Lori, EXCELENTE!

Llevo 5 años visitando este hermoso lugar. Es rústico pero el servicio sin igual. Es perfecto para descansar y disfrutar de la vista al mar de los cuartos. La comida preparada al gusto y se siente en familia cada vez que voy.
