Hacienda Pinsaqui

We stopped here on the way to Otavalo and had the best lunch. I definitely recommend it and if you're lucky they will show you Simon Bolivar's room where he stayed close to 300 years ago.

The rooms were huge, beautiful and a bit chilly. When we came back feom dinner they had put warm water bottles under the blankets. So nice! Beautiful all around.

Wow! This place is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in a suite in the main house that had an enormous living room and bedroom with a wood burning fireplace which kept us warm at night. The service is phenomenal, from the welcome tea and cocktails to the complementary horseback ride around the installation. The restaurant service was amazing as well. You can't really tell by the pictures online the beauty and luxury of this place, it's something to experience in person. Make sure to take your time when visiting and allow time to see and enjoy the entire place. It is impressive!

We had our wedding here a few weeks ago and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was fantastic and the staff went above and beyond for us. The grounds were also well kept, rooms were clean and always had a fire going for us at night. I can't thank them enough for making our day absolutely perfect and making the whole week fantastic for us and our guests. Highly recommend!!!

We stayed here for two nights as part of our 10day tour with Bike Hike Adventures. This hotel was beautiful!!! They have clearly been making some lovely upgrades to the hotel, while taking care to retain much of the original architectural character. In addition, the staff and food was wonderful. And the owner joined the guests for drinks, dancing, and live music the first night! Truly a gem!

Ceviche Pinsaqui for dinner was superb. The hospitality services were excellent. Don’t miss the Equestrian Bar.

Beautiful and peaceful historical place to stay that offers good food, horserides and live entertainment. Our room was very cozy and we loved the fireplace. We forgot some of our belongings there, they called us right after we left and send them back to Quito. We had a great time and appreciate their kindness.

There is so much that can be highlighted from my stay, but it can all be summarized in that they will undoubtedly make you feel at home, as part of their family.

The level of attentiveness that staff has is beyond words. What most surprised me? The hot water bottles that were placed under my sheets so that the bed was cozy warm once I jumped under the covers after a VERY long day of activities.

Every single activity, meal and area shows how much they care, not only about their reputation or service but their story, their heritage. You will be delighted to hear about all the events that have taken place in the hacienda and how it has been attended to through each generation. And staff feel the place as their own; whether you're walking through the green areas or horseback riding, they will share their stories about collaborating in this enchanted place.

Be charmed by the surrounding areas, the animals and the people. It is magical, and without a doubt, a place worth visiting.

Awesome place where you can relax surrounded by nature. You can walk around or horseback ride to know the beautiful corners of the hotel premises. Delicious homemade food is also available.

A breathtaking place with amazing history and fantastic decors. The surroundings are great and you’re pretty close to the Otavala market and the Peguche falls. You can feel the history everywhere. I strongly recommend this place.

This place was just awesome. Not only is it beautiful and located near Otavalo and Cotacachi, but the staff is super friendly and they go out of their way to help you. Probably the best customer service we've ever had in Ecuador.
