It was a great experience. Museum staff was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of information about Seto culture in Estonia. Video shown was great addition and possibility of trying clothes on - what more do you want!?

We visited with Setomaa Tour Guide Helen and found the displays honouring the lives and songs of Seto women both interesting and moving. Great story of survival and determination. And making beauty despite hardship.

Learning about the Setos when visiting Estonia is a must! Their culture and history is incredible. We had a great time at the museum, the lady explained everything we asked about. I can fully recommend this place.

В музее Сету можно познакомиться с жизнью, обычаями и традициями сетуской семьи в Обинитса в период 1920-1940. Интерьер комнат музея составлен из предметов, собранных в окрестных деревнях. В музее имеется уникальное собрание предметов рукоделия сетуских женщин: изящные цветные праздничные платки, декоративные полотенца и национальная одежда. В расположенном в музее туристическом инфопункте Обинитса можно получить информацию о Сетомаа, Пылвамаа и Вырумаа.
