Superb place to visit and enjoy this unique environment. As it is only a short distance from Tallinn it can get busy, especially at weekends, holidays or when the weather is particularly fine.

Simply beautiful!
But if you want to hike in peace and calm, then I wouldn’t suggest this place. During the weekends or holidays it can be REALLY crowded, since a lot of people want to enjoy this beauty as well.

The best. The longest. The widest bog with a trail from wooden plans across the whole of it. Beware that the trail is not circular and there is wilderness on its southern end! Unless you are hiking thru, think of means of getting back before.

Several trails to choose from. The biggest bog lake (for swimming) is about 15 minute walk from the parking lot.
Sometimes it is tricky to stay on the correct track, the signs could be a bit more helpful.
Very well maintained track and facilities 😊

Very scenic and modern place. A dedicated spot for your fires with cut logs, WC, some rain shelter. A good place to take a walk

Typical estonian bog, recommended to visit in the morning when nobody is there.

A little bit hard to find the trail in the dark. Nice and big. Big river in the middle of the bog. The trail is in good condition.

Excellent hiking trail over the Kakerdaja bog and in the nearby woods, where you can get an amazing experience of the quickly changing forest types.
