🌅Great point of view on the bay, the birds and the cattle. Extremely peaceful 😌
Even without being a bird specialist it is indeed very enjoyable.
The watch tower is located at the north of Maatsalu bay/ National park and is very accessible by car and there is a free parking. Access to the tower is free too.
There are picnic table close to the tower and a hotel set in an old farm.
The area is protected, respect the place 🙏

Beautiful place and if you come during the bird migration time, you can be amazed. Despite the fact that Estonia's continuous nature destruction, monocultures and climate change have led to dwindling numbers of migratory birds stopping here.

An amazing place...If you climb a tower, you have unforgettable view to beatutiful landscape of Matsalu national park...sea, water, meadows, stones, cattle - Scottish Highlander...and so many birds....

A good view of the western shoreline. With a nice weather a very enjoyable experience. As all are saying that there are lots of birds to view, I'll take a non-ornithologist approach and bring out that the birds can be quite noisy. The cattle is a lot quieter.

Interesting place. Be sure to take a pair of binoculars with you. There's also accomodations available at the tower.

Beautiful views of birds and grazing animals. As well as two cute houses with beautiful flowers around it. Wooden path leading to tower.

Lovely and caring hosts. We enjoyed the food,the suana, and the easy access to the viewing tower. We enjoyed the nearby towns as well. It was a quiet and relaxing stay, just what we wanted.
